Yes I'm on Phentermine too, have been on it since start of May and have lost 21 lbs so far. But I only intend to be on it for one more month, as the doctor said it is used for three months only, as the body gets used to it and you may stop losing weight. I feel I have kickstarted the weight loss but I do understand that this is a drastic way of losing weight, however I think the dangers of being obese somewhat outway the dangers of taking amphetamines short term to lose weight (as long as you have no other pre-existing conditions). So perhaps it's a good idea to continue to lose weight without the pills and see how you go.
Some of Dr Steven Park's blogs on sleep are interesting. These can be found under Expert Activity to the right of your screen. There was a recent one on weight loss.
Apparently if we don't eat anything within ?three hours of going to bed we can lose weight. I guess Dr Beckerman covered that in his blog. Wasn't the kitchen a no-fly zone after dinner?? My memory is pretty bad at the moment so I would need to re-read it.
The stuff on sleep apnea, etc can be quite interesting if you have the time to read it.
I would recommend consulting with your doctor regarding the fatigue. I also personally would not recommend any diet pill.
Yes Phentermine is the generic name. I was told the same thing yesterday that they aew usually only prescribed for 3 months. I don't know why my Dr. is still giving them to me then. I guess just because I have been having success with them still. Anyways thank you for replying.
If I understand correctly, Fastin is the same as phentermine, which is an amphetamine. It is only recommended to be used for up to 12 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if you have developed a tolerance to it.
