Phentermine3.75 are lapband

Hi I am a 42 year old African American woman who had a tummy tuck March 09 that went terrible wrong. Had no health issue but was on HCTZ 25mg for blood pressure. When I came out of surgery couldn't breeze on my own was put on oxygen and it took 2 weeks before finding out i one lung was full of blood clots and right lung had started wasn't expected to live over night. Went from 279 to 220 in 4 months weight is gradually coming back excercise an hour a day but have limited from my doctor. What effect would the lapband are Phentermine 3.75 would have only on HCTZ 25MG AND Potassium. Thanks for the help

Hi - I don't recommend phentermine, as research studies suggest that it's not very effective in the long term (after you stop taking it) and is only associated with a small amount of weight loss.  I'm also concerned by the possible side effects, especially given the experiences you have had with medical/surgical complications recently.  I'd stick with the healthier diet and exercise route!
