Congratulations on quitting smoking. I would strongly recommend against using any 'diet pills' or 'weight loss supplements' as the potential impact on your coumadin levels and clotting risk is uncertain. Diet and exercise are really the best medicine here.
I too would caution against using diet pills. In my experience they don't work and have the potential to cause harm.
There are things you can do naturally to reduce or control hunger. Adding protein at each meal is said to be beneficial. Eating healthy foods in time seem to balance out cravings.
Food, like nicotine, can be addictive. You may like to look at the underlying cause which is compelling you to smoke or emotionally eat. You may like to check out another forum expert's website at www.shrinkyourself.com.
Also, Dr Beckerman has some good advice in his first blog. You may like to start there.
Exercise is good but I would run that past your doctor. Mum had some sizeable PE which affected her ability to breathe. Exercise could be more important in your situation.
Don't go down the route of diet pills, it just isn't worth the risk, expense and heart ache.
can you recomen any good pills for me please.
Thank you
