hi..
I am a 17 yr old studnt... 2 yearz back i was a 98 kg boy,bt right now i have lost weight and have come down to 70kgz. i do a workout and try n keep my self in shape. But my main problem is the fat accumilated near the waste line and on my belly. My instructor toked me up to have amino acid supplement pills to boost up fat loss.
Guide me to the proper way of fat loss and tell me weather should i make the use of those pills or not?

I don't recommend the pills.

First of all, great job losing the weight and taking good care of yourself by exercising regularly.  It's possible that when you were heavier, you stretched skin in your abdomen, and now that you have lost weight, you have what seems to be "excess skin" in this area - possibly without any significant fat.  This is notoriously hard to get rid of, and leads some people to undergo cosmetic surgery later in life.  But you're still young and should have good elasticity to your skin - it's quite possible that it will improve as time goes on.  In the meantime, continue eating right and exercising, and consider doing exercises to build muscle in those problem areas as well.  Take care.

To: just diagnosed with peripheral vascular disease.
Last week my doctor told me i had a little bit of vascular disease in 2 different area's in my legs...However he was very vage when it came to giving me answers...I'm 31 years old female 5' 8" tall..Iam about 90lbs.overwieght so losing weight is #1 on the list.. As a mother of 4 children one of them is special needs i want some answers to improve my life span.

I was curious if he found some build up shouldn't it be monitered?  Or can they clear it out? or medicine that can help? granted i'm overweight my thyroid is good, kidney funtion good, no highblood pressure.and no diabeties and my cholesteral is okay...I suffer from Anxiety Attacks... I also get Lightheadedness while doing household chores..not due to anxiety I get sick quickly (Infections reoccuring) Just in last 2 years i have experienced my First ear infection it keep coming back 3 times..Sinus infection...gastronitis...deyhdration and flu...

Anyhow when i asked if there can be anything that can be done to help...Doc. just told me" EVERYTHING"  ummm okay ...he said sitting for long periods of time was the worse thing i could do and walk everyday... I walked around the feild yesterday it's really big and by the time i got home my thighs all the way down below my knees where throbbing and then my leg from knee down started to sting so i elevated them....

Okay so when you walk how many minutes in a day is healthy for me? where i live it's extremely HOT 120 temps and right now it's 108 so i'm indoors most of the time...which means i sit alot.. I go out in evening or very early morning...

My docter never gave me medicine for my condition or solid information that might help me as far as Improvement and possibly clearing out the build up so blood can flow better...my feet get frozen like Ice and know my legs hurt after i walk any suggestions would be helpful....Thank you...Darlene
