not sure what to do now....

i'm 24 and a mother to 2 beautiful 11 month old boys. in the process of getting those beautiful little boys i had to gain a bit of weight. well i've lost all the pregnancy weight but i'm still aiming to loose a bit more. i'm having issues with the weight but i'm trying to rectify that. my BIG problem is the belly. how on earth do you get rid of it short of cosmetic surgery? i'm not a huge fan of tummy tucks or lipo and i REALLY don't want to have to resort to that but i don't know what else i can do for the belly! any suggestions?

Hi Heatherlynn22,  thanks for your post.

Many women have a bit of a belly after having had children (especially with twins!), even when they are back to their pre-pregnancy weight.  This is a challenging situation, because it is not necessarily an issue of abdominal fat, but more of a skin elasticity issue, which is more difficult to treat.  Some people do find that over time they see some improvements, and doing abdominal exercises may help somewhat as well.  For some people, however, surgical procedures are the next step.  I might suggest giving it a bit more time, and seeing if exercise and a healthy diet get you closer to where you want to be.  Take care!
