25-30g x 1" ???
What is the most common gage used?
Is anyone using 1 1/2" needle or just 1" to reach intramuscular?

I'm using  3ccX25gX1 1/2  I have used 1ccX25gX1.0 it worked ok.  But it depends on where you want to inject.  Some people inject into the stomach area, some, into the muscle in the arm, glute or thigh.

The larger the gage number the thinner the needle - so a 30 gage needle is much thinner and shouldn't hurt as much.  I'm using a 30gage 1/2 inch needle but I inject into my stomach or thigh and it doesn't hurt at all.

But if you are going to inject IM - I read you should go with the 30g x 1"

I thought I read somewhere that doctors don't even use a 25g needle as this is large needle.  So if you can find a 29g or 30g it would probably be best.

wow...I am new to this..I ordered HCG and needles from eurobolic and the needles said 21 gauge ..is that huge??? will that be painful?

25 is a smaller needle than 21...you should be fine.

I personally would get different needles.  I was told to change the needles from when you draw out the hcg to injections.  So what I do is withdraw the hcg from my vial with a 27g 1 1/2 inch needle and then change the needle to the 30g 1/2 in needle when I inject.  They say that the needles dull very easy and the sharper the needle the less pain.

Does that make sense?
