Two days after that, I received another call from Tonya asking if I had been in for my measurements and photographs. I was shocked. I had just spoken to her two days prior to this regarding this very issue. I reminded her of this (I am beginning to think that either she is not very brightBright beginnings or she is so overwhelmed with refund requests that she doesn't know what she's doing). She again asked me about the fact that I had already had 5 treatments and I had to tell her yet again (this is the 4th or 5th time now) that I had a severe allergic reaction. She said she needed something from my physician regarding this. Sound familiar? I think I started laughing at this point. How many times do I have to bring this up? I told her that I had already provided the documentation they asked for and they didn't want anything else from me when I offered it (including photographs of my reaction). She said that they had not received my measurements and photographs yet even though it had been over a month since I went in to get this done. They told me in the OP office that the photographs & measurements would be sent to St Louis within a couple days, yet headquarters in St Louis has yet to receive them. After all this, Tonya told me it would take 90 business days to process my refund. I told her that two days prior she told me it would take only 60 days. She said it would be 60 business days. I asked if everything (meaning their incompetence) was holding up my refund. She said that the 60 business days would start from March 30th, when my refund process first started.
If someone could please explain to me why I have to keep repeating my story every single time this lady Tonya decides to call me and why nothing is going the way it should with the refund process?! Tomorrow I'm calling the OP office to find out what is going on and then I'm going to start writing letters to mail out to every person in Fig. headquarters and if I don't get the response I need, I'm calling the BBB. I am so furious and frustrated.
HI Ang- Wow. Sounds like you and I have had similar problems, although I have not had my final consultation yet. I started Lipodissolve in July 2006 and have had 6 treatments to 3 areas (paid $6,000)..This is FIG - ADVANCED LIPODISSOLVE CENTER in St Louis. This has actually made me gain weight, and the last time I went in for my injections last months, the nurse told me that she was refusing to give me the injections because I need to go to WEIGHT WATCHERS and lose weight first. I never was that overweight to begin with, but I think I am having an allergic reaction as well, because my upper abs look and feel like I am 8 months pregnant again. It's like when you get the injections and it swells you up but never goes back to normal. It is so uncomfortable, and it could not be from anything else but this Lipodissolve. I think my inner stomach is inflamed and I made an appointment for next week with my REGULAR MEDICAL DOCTOR to have him check this out. If it is injected from the Lipo, you better believe that those FIG people will hear it from me, and there WILL be a lawsuit. I find it quite strange how their commercials showed DOCTORS but I never once in this past year SAW a doctor ANYWHERE in that office. Keep me updated on your situation and I will do so as well. Good luck !
Hi all - I think if you want to see a story on the potential dangers of fig. advanced lipodissolve - then here is a story you should see. Click the link to go to a Las Vegas TV stations undercover investigation.

I hope the lady featured in this story got her money back. Warning - they show what advanced lipodissolve did to her. It's not pretty.
I just felt compelled to respond to your post about the TV story. I currently work at fig. and have experienced great results from the lipodissolve treatments I've received. My arms have always been a problem area for me, and I always told myself that I would have liposuction if I could ever afford that procedure. When I decided to try lipodissolve, the Dr. that performed my treatments told me that arms were a difficult area to treat, but I had reasonable expectations and stuck to the protocol and recommendations that were prescribed to me. It's been several months since my last treatment, and my arms have never looked better. I have worn sleeveless shirts all summer, and I'm not self-conscious about my arms anymore. I LOVE this procedure, and would recommend it to anyone who has stubborn areas of fat. I know that there are some people who do not respond to treatment, and there are side effects that are explained very clearly before treatment begins. It seems that you only hear the negative stories in the media, but I know first hand that we have many happy patients, and I am certainly one of them. If you'd like to see a different perspective, check out this story from the CBS early show: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/07/24/earlyshow/health/main3094489.shtml#ccmm
I am in a similar situation. I am a "non-responder" (I'm told 5% of us are). I am also a lawyer. I was told that in order to get a refund, you have to go through three additional treatments. Then someone else decides if you should be satisfied. Then you get your money. Supposedly. But when I went in for my first additional treatment, I had so many problems (much more pain, much more swelling, much longer recovery) I began to have concerns about permanent damage. I have been in contact with someone and she has verbally told me how the process will work if I am not able to complete the two more additional treatments, but wouldn't you know, the letter I sent to her confirming our conversation was sent back "undeliverable", and when I tried to call, the number gives a busy tone. Anyone have any idea what is going on over there?
