Any more suugestions re: Gain?

by Rockrgrrl, Apr 17, 2007 12:00AM
Up another lb. today after taking HCG shot a few days ago. Wgt. was coming off easily during a 12 day period I was off HCG (pound per day). Barely lost anything on HCG for 2 preceeding months while taking HCG at local doc.

Weight loss while off HCG was the bad kind. Face drawn and haggard looking. That's different then HCG loss. But still....I was losing weight. I can't seem to lose anything when taking HCG.

Any thoughts?

Please know my clinic plan was 2 shots per week, not Simeons which I am starting next week when my order arrives. Many people lose lots of wgt. on the plan I'm on and only taking one shot.

as far as food, I'm doing the same as you. no more sweet cravings...leaving out melba, as well.  Been doing that for 3 months. Losing fine on that alone but not w/hcg is added.  Will be starting the same amt. of shots as yourself upon arrival of HCG next week. Just concerned that I stop losing everytime HCG is introduced into my body and wondering if anyone has thoughts about it being some weird reaction or whatever.

Thanks for input.

I think I would relax until you get your product next week.  Eat moderately.  Then get started with the daily program. Be sure to load on Day 1 and Day 2.  Also, remember all our bodies react differently to things.  And it is possible that with the daily shots, that is what your body needs.  Most important to do is get the teas, and do drink the water...
I am on Day 5 with taking 200 iu injection.  I dropped today to 175 iu.  I don't feel as hungry as I did on Day 3 and Day 4.  I was told that I would have no hunger... That is hard one.  KT does say by Day 7 the hunger pains should stop.  Guess I will let you know in two more days....

Remember about the ingredients you use daily like - skin care, lipsticks, deodorant, shampoo.  They supposedly have an impact.

I have been using, Arbonne mineral foundation, mascara, lipstick, and a little blush and eye shadow.  I use their shampoo and I have left out deodorant for now.... - little baking soda powder in place of it.
I drink my coffee and water in the AM.  I get a 175IU injection daily of just the HCG.  I eat 5 oz. of chicken for lunch and a large bowl of 1 green vegetable. - whether it is salad, spinach, or total green beans.  I eat my apple or strawberries around 3 PM to 4 PM.  I can have 5 melba toast if I get hungry.. Then I eat dinner later....  Same thing I had for lunch.  I walk at 8:15 for 20 to 30 minutes.  I have a nice tea before bed.
I am on Day 5 and I have lost 3 lbs and 2 1/2 in.  I am totally motivated to stick to this program.  If the hunger pains die down, then I can lower my intake a few calories.  My calories are ranging from 500 to 600 calories at present.  No breads, no sweets!!
Good luck....

Thanks for your info and support.  Since I've been doing hcg diet at a clinic for 3 months, I'm thankfully over the hunger part.  My doc had given me phen and I only needed it 3 days.  I never ate much anyway but it was a great help getting over the initial hump.  Having sleep issues due to pain, my hunger comes at night but it's gone now. I promise your  the hunger pains will continue to die down as the days go by.  Seems like your doing well already!  I'm proud of you and the fact that you have a game plan just in case.  As for me...don't worry.....I am NOT giving up!!!

I have numerous medical issues so that is probably interfering with my loss, as well.  I figured today that it could just be an interaction with one of my drugs and the hormone.  The darn meds and illness are the reasons I gained so much in the first place.  Always someting....right....lol!

Peace

I understand.  Well, I gained when I quit smoking and trying for the past 10 years to get pregnant. Drugs, and 4 IVF attempts.  And then the depression from not getting pregnant... I had alot of issues to deal with and just have never felt motivated.
I have a big birthday this October and I would love to be dancing on the table!! At the present, I would break the table... We are going to Vegas, and it would be so cool to look awesome!!

hi, i have seen you on one of the other hcg groups. and if you will go to the other group and input message #291 the link might be of some help to you.    it says that some people that are hard core cases might need loading days up to 10 day to make hcg truly effective.   hope this helps
