If you are literally not doing anything else to lose weight, then no it probably won't help much, but if you are eating a low calorie diet and exercising then it will.

B-12 is supposed to give you energy, boost your metabolism (which helps you burn more calories) and helps your immune system. So the theory is you will want to exercise more and be more active, etc. and just more healthy in general. Combine it with eating low cal (a lot of programs give an appetite suppressant) exercising and drinking lots of water, and weight loss should occur.
