B12 & 8mg Phentermine

Is anyone taking 8mg phentermine (up to 4x per day) w/B12 shots.I went to a bariatric dr. for weightloss & he prefer 8mg phentermine instead of 37.5. he said u can take it as soon as hunger pains start (otherwise dont waste a pill). Let me know if anyone had success with the 8mg instead of the 37.5.
