B12/HCG shots

by showme, Apr 26, 2006 12:00AM
I started at the Bariatric clinic last week 4/20.  I get a shot 4-5 times a week, I take a water pill, Lonamin 30mg at 9AM and 15mg at 3PM, I also take a potassium pill after lunch.  The first few I felt fine.  On Monday, I started to get dizzy almost everytime I stand up and I started feeling nauseas pretty much all day.  I can still function.  Has anyone else had this problem?

Also, has anyone else that has been on this kept the weight off after they went off?

Any tips help!

Thanks

I am not certain on the HCG but I know the water pills make me sick.  My family Dr gave me the same and the pills them self make me sick.  I have been taking the shots for the second day and havn't felt anything strange except I want a tall cup of coffee with cream and sugar and a Krispy Kream Donut.  That might be why I am doing the diet, you think?  Any way, I think the water pill might be making you sick.

I wanted to post ot you today, but to be honest I will have to look at the needle when I get back home.  For the life of me I cannot remember.  I didnot want you to think I was not going to answer.  I will look tonight and post for you.  But, to your answer I was taking only one shot a week, and taking diet pills that made me feel, sick, dizzy, and irritable.  I am now taking Phendimetrazine 35mg twice a day and 5 shots a week.  This is my 4th day and so far no side effects.  I am having problems with the low calorie diet of only 800 calories a day because I really havn't set down to do a menu and go shopping for work and home.  Plus I am addicated to COKES.  I know I drink at least 4 a day, plus sweet tea and don't forget my coffee, with cream and sugar.  So, if I am having any problems it is with the caffeine.  A bad problem.  I will get back to you on the shot amount tonight.

I'm not sure how much is in the shot, but I checked with the nurse today and it is a shot of b12 and b6 mixed together.  I have been feeling better.  I think the potassium pill is what is making me not feel good.  I started feeling fine until I take it after lunch.  I am going to talk to the nurse on Monday.  I lost 6 1/2 pounds when I got weighed on Wednesday (1week).  I do weight myself at home, even though they tell me not to.  I lost another 2 pounds.
