Well I went today, and got my shot and my perscriptions. I have a perscription for phentermine and one for water retention to take during my periods. The doctor was very helpful and answered all of my questions, and thinks that my goals are reasonable, and that I should reach my goal weight fairly quickly.
I'm pretty much talking to myself here, but that's ok. I was down 1lb today, and I didn't sleep too well last night, not sure if that is from having the B12 shot yesterday, or from the phentermine. I took the phentermine earlier today, and I also took the water pill, because I drank a TON of water yesterday due to the dry mouth. I usually drink a gallon of water a day anyway, but I think I did more yesterday, and I really don't want to retain any of it.
Today I was down a pound from yesterday, so on day 4 I have lost a total of .5lbs. Can't say I'm very excited about that, but I am not ready to give up hope yet. I was having some really bad cramping in my feet, legs and hands, so I called my Dr. this morning, and he told me to stop taking the water pill and to drink some Gatorade. I wish I would have called him before I took the water pill this morning, lol!
Day 5, and I am down .5lbs this morning, for a total weight loss so far of 1lb! Woooohhhoooo, not. I'm wondering if the slow weight loss is because I don't have any water weight to loose, and maybe too because I don't have a great deal to loose. I didn't take the water pill today, so maybe that will be the difference for me. I hope it also helps clear up the cramps in my legs, feets and hands, which have been better since drinking 2 bottles of Gatorade yesterday. I woke up at 2am last night, and was up til 4:30am, very frustrating not sleeping, thank God it's Friday!
