B12 w/ Lipo-B - Weirdest thing happened...

I got my first B12 w/ Lipo-B on Friday morning and the weirdest thing happened...Friday I was okay, but Saturday...I actually got off the couch and cleaned my kitchen, scrubbed the floor, did 3 loads of laundry, hung them on the line AND brought them in, took my daughter shopping, took a bike ride with my husband and son, went to dinner and a movie with my husband and STILL wasn't dragging.  Sunday not so eventful, but went shopping and  on another bike ride with my husband and son.  Usually, you can't get me off the couch, or the only thing I want to do is go to the movies where I can just sit down!  and cleaning is out of the question!  Anyway, I do have a question...I know it's only been 3 days, but if I'm supposed to lose like 5 punds the first week, shouldn't even 1 have left me by now?...(not that I'm impatient or anything)...and how often can I get those shots?  I am supposed to go in tomorrow because they said I can "load" my first week with an extra shot, but does anyone know if there is some kind of limit or whatever?  I'm going to ask tomorrow, but again, I'm slightly impatient. I'm almost feeling like even if I don't lose weight, I feel really good!...and I got to bike ride with my 5 year old 2 times this weekend, and we're going again tonight!  Can't wait to get home!

u have the right idea u can not use meds forever, we as individuals must use portion control. I am taking adipex and getting the lipoB SHOTS and it works I HAVE LOST 15 POUNDS in three months. I have started exercising and eating smaller portions. However, I am getting off these meds these side effects r awful I have a headache everyday. This is definately not healthy I will continue the shots once a month until I am able 2 lose the weight on my own. Remember there aren't short cuts to losing weight.

hi hows your energy level going. are you still going biking with your family. are you a stay at home mom , iam i find i eat from bordom more then im hunrgy. i just walk in the kitchen and i want food not that im hungry just because im there. when im out i hardly ever think of food. so now i stock my kitchen with more fruits and vegies so i eat that. its okay for thr summer because there is more choises and its cheaper but when winter comes it gets to be a little more harder.

My energy is great!  Before the shots I was DYING by 3 p.m.  Now, I'm wide awake at 10. Not wired, just not feeling horrible.  Unfortunately, the weather here has been horrible so biking is out. Yesterday temp was 102 w/ heat index of like 110.  (I live in Virginia Beach.)  It was still 92 at 9:30 last night. UGH!  We've gone to the mall a few times to get in some type of exercise, but still not enough.  The weather is supposed to break this weekend so hopefully we can get back out there really soon.  We are taking my son out of town for the weekend to a children's museum and I purposely booked a hotel with a pool so that we could at least go swimming. (Hey, I never have to see these people again. Don't care if they see me in a bathing suit!) We've got some great state parks I can't wait to get to when the weather cools, not to mention the boardwalk but in the meantime, we're all trying to stay somewhat cool.  As far as food, I'm doing pretty good I think.  I do a lot of salads, and fresh fruit and veggies.  My BIGGEST problem is portion control.  I know that and I'm really trying to fix that, but man, it's tough.  Like the other day I went to Cal.Pizza Kitchen and got 1/2 my salad to go and had it for dinner.  I try to do that, or share it with someone.  I have the appointment with the doctor on Monday for an appetite suppressant, and I'm looking forward to that.  Thanks.

I have an appointment with my weight loss Dr. on Monday for appetite suppressant, but in the meantime I bought the Dexatrim GreenTea.  Already noticed a difference this morning.  For breakfast I ususally eat a banana and yogurt, but this morning I couldn't finish the last couple of bites. (hey, it's a start) It's 1/2 an hour before lunch, and I'm totally not interested. We'll see.

After one month I lost the hyper feeling, now after 3 months I am back on the couch and not doing to much.  Do you think they changed my shots at the DRs. office?

it seems to me you dont give things time to work .are you looking for a quick fix or what. you only had those pills for two days it takes time for some to get in your system.

Maybe, but shouldn't an appetite suppressant work in the first day.  Shouldn't I be less hungry by even a little?  I didn't realize an appetite suppressant needed to build up.  I really don't know.

OK, the GNC junk I bought the other night DIDN'T WORK.  Didn't work so much, I'm going in there tonight to get my money back...and I usually just toss it, but I'm going back.

Anyway, I've called my family dr. and am going to get an appetite suppressant from there.

I'm usually hyper-sensitive to stuff like that, but other than not being exhausted by 3:00 every day and actually being able to do stuff when I get home, no side-effects.  Unfortunately, I was mistaken earlier when I thought I had lost 3 pounds, apparently it found me and I had only lost 1.5 pounds. I'm considering the Phentermine, but the doctor I go to is really expensive to prescribe that: $385 for labs & EKG that I just had done at my other doctors not too long ago, but they will knock off $75., so I'd be paying $310 for my doctor to prescribe Phentermine.  I actually bought something from GNC last night to help with the appetite.  We'll see if it works. I know my EKG & labs were fine so I'm not worried about that, but like I said, my body doesn't like outside 'stuff'.  I'm going to give the GNC product a couple of weeks and see how it works.  I'm also looking at the Hoodia. GNC carreis that for $39.  Everything I've read about the Hoodia sounds good, i.e. no side-effects. We'll see.

I'm not following a 'plan' or using appetite suppressants.  Strange as it sounds getting the shots, I really don't like taking meds, and the app. supp. actually kinda scares me.  So far I'm doing okay.  I mean, eventually I'll have to eat on my own so rather than act like my app. isn't there, I'm trying to get in the habit of planning ahead and eating right. I posted to someone the other day my typical diet:
Breakfast: Fiber One Cereal w/ FF Skim Milk
Snack: Banana or other fruit (but I'm usually still full from breakfast until lunchtime)
Lunch: Big salad with chicken or tuna salad (or both). I don't use dressing, just dip the tuna/chicken w/ salad. (Schlotzky's in my area has a really good tri-salad) (today I wasn't too hungry so I ate a medium sized greek salad w/ Feta)
Snack: Fresh Fruit Cup around 3-4:00 so I'm not starving when I get home and eat everything.
Dinner: Some kind of fish or chicken dinner usually...I also take broccoli crowns and microwave the entire thing for 4 minutes with a little water.
(Exercising as soon as I get home from work also helps curb my appetite so I'm not so likely to 1) overeat at dinner; and 2) skip exercising because I'm too full from dinner.
...and water!  I drink 2-3 liters a day. - also, I LOVE ice cream in the evenings.  It's kinda like my reward for getting through another day. but what I've started doing is taking Crystal Light Lemonade and freezing it into ice cubes. I have a really cool ice shaver and it takes about a minute to have a nice big cup of crushed ice, 0 calories, water & no guilt! and I don't feel like I've had 2 cups of ice cream right before bed (you know that feeling)!

I got home last night and I think just out of habit I was blah.  Then I thought "What is wrong with you? You feel great!"  So I put a bike rack on my car, put my little guy's bike on (by that time my husband was interested) and mine and my husband's bike on the rack and went to the local middle school where they have a really nice track.  I rode 10 times around the track! That's 2.5 miles!  I couldn't believe I was doing it!  My husband kept "taking breaks with the boy".  He was ready to drop!  They went maybe 4 or 5 times around.  Went home wasn't even really hungry.  I did some stuff around the house and when we got into bed my husband couldn't even keep his eyes open.  Want to hear the best part?  My husband is 13 years younger than me!  I'm 40 and he's 27!  HA!  I went to get that 2nd shot today and had lost 1.5 pounds.  She said I could come in 2x a week for the shots if I wanted.  Try & keep me away!

My understanding is that the Lipo-B has the other B complex vitamins in it along with amino acid to help with the fat cells.  I get them at the weight loss clinic I go to, Chase Wellness in Virginia Beach.

What is B-12 with Lipo-B and where do you get it?  I know that B-12 is a vitamin injected which I have been wanting to use for bursitis, however don't know where to get it.  My doctor doesn't do the injections?  I am tired alot and wonder if that would help me as well???  How did you find out about the B-12 w/Lipo-B?  Thanks for your help....
