Could all of this be a coincidence or maybe there's something else going on. I do take synthroid for Grave's disease - the dr. at baritric center did all the medical exams before he started me on this stuff. Should I stop taking the Adipex too?
I'm 52 & have always been healthy - just need to lose about 30 lbs. Lost 20 in 4 months. HELP!
Tks for responding, but I did tell the doctor at the clinic that I was taking the Synthroid for my thyroid or lack of one. It't not overactive any longer Actually, my thyroid was removed 5 years ago by that radioactive stuff - so I have to take the synthroid & it is a very small dose because my regular doctor likes to keep it though because of osteoporothis being older w/menopause. I had been on Ionamine for a while & then he switched me to the Adipex _ did tell my GP that I was taking this stuff. She didn't say anthing about my thyroid.
I did stop taking the Adipex for about 1-1/2 weeks but hands still red & hot & then sometimes cold.
Yes they also have me on a water pill & potassium - but just last week they switched me to every other day.
