Hcg is an effective product as part of a program for Losing weight. The program was originated by Dr Simeon and outlined in his document "Pounds and Inches".   (Copy available at Yahoo group hcgdieters at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/hcgdieters/).  
  
The diet has become more popular because of Keven Trudeau's book "Weightloss Cure", which details the diet and adds some more suggestions.
  
The program has you eating 500 Calories from specific food lists per day, and taking a daily hcg shot (or 5 days a week).  The hcg is supposed to free up the 'hard to lose fat' and it gives you a feeling of well being.  That's all some people need, but others take an appetite suppresant with the program. Some of the Clinics have changed the 500 Calorie diet to a 750-800 calorie diet.
  
Also at the Yahoo group, you can see a report of progress people have made with this diet plan.  It's pretty impressive.  People seem to be losing from .5  to 1.5 lbs a DAY on the program. It seems the people who start out at 250 lbs or more are losing 1-2 lbs a day, while the ones who need to lose only 30-60 lbs are losing .5 to .94 lbs a day.

I have recently moved to Las Vegas, NV....does anyone know a doctor here that will prescribe Bontril for weight loss.  It is the ONLY thing that truly works for me, but alot of drs won't prescribe it due to the listed side affects.  I did not have any side affects other than increased energy and no appetite....which is exactly what I want!  Please help me as quickly as possible.  Thank you!
