Breaking the glass ampoule

I am so nervous to break the glass ampoule. I'm assumming it is supposed to break where the line indicates near the top but my gut says it is going to break in the thinest part, mid tube. Don't I have to worry about tiny glass pieces ending up in the powder or worse...it not breaking where it should? I've spent alot of money now on all the items to go along with the HCG itself, what if I contaminate it and break it wrong? UGH, nervous!

I have heard about "filter" needles that should be used with the glass ampoules for that very reason. I'm not sure if it really is a common occurence for the glass to get into the vial, but you never know!
