Can your OB Prescribe Weight Loss Pills or no?
I had a baby about 6 weeks ago and am desperate to lose weight now that we are done having kids ( that was our 3rd) I am ready to get control of my body and need to lose about 80 pounds......  I have to go for my 6 week post pardum check up this week - can my OB recommend or prescribe a weight loss pill ( like phentermine, or something else)  or do I have to go to a nutritionist or something??

My OB wouldn't prescribe them but my Family Doctor did after I had my son. Phentermine worked well with controlling my appetite. I wasn't craving certain "junk" food so I was able to eat healthier.
