There alot of doctors in Las Vegas that will give a B12 injection. What part of town do you live. If you look in the yellowYellow fever vaccine Yellow nail syndrome pages you can find one under weight loss. I got mine on Eastern between harmon and Rochell. Close to flamingo and Eastern intersection. If you can't find someone, post again and I will tell you the name and phone of the Doctor. I'm just not at home right now so I don't have the information.
I'm a 5'7 300lbman. Does anyone know of a good clinic or individual who can help me?? Need a program that works with people who have to eat out a lot! Thanks
Hi I called the weight loss clinic on Rainbow (702-258-8456)and they are only open on Monday-Thurday from 8-4pm does anyone know of another office with weekend or longer office hours?
Thanks for the info.
Dr. Goldsmith.. i sent in my app for them to call me but i dont know if this is considered exp. $289 for 8 weeks worth of shots and 1 month of diet pills?
My doctors office is on Durango off of DI (behind the VonsVon willebrand disease) Its called Unicorn Medical Weight Loss centers. There's also one in greenGreen tea valley. They aren't open on weekends but they are open 8 to 6pm Monday thru Friday. Once you've seen the DR and are getting your injections you come in whenever you want and it has never taken me longer than 10 minutes from signing in to walking out the door (actually its normally a 5 minute visit) Anyway they value your time! Of course dr's visits and consultations take longer. There number is 702-227-1916.
I started 4/20/06 and one month later 5/21/06 I've lost 18 pounds total. Almost 20 pounds in a month!! I truely cant believe it, especially becuase it hasn't been that hard. Like other diets and you can only eat this at this time etc. The phentermine has REALLY helped with my appetite. I would estimate I'm on a 1000 calorie diet, although the DR gave me a packet for a 1200 calorie diet. The packet tells you what you need to eat and how many calories are in different meats, veggies, etc. but its hard to eat everything they tell you to when you're taking phentermine.
Hi I, am Liz I need to find a good doctor here in las vegas. I lost 90 lbs in the period of 8 months with phentermine, water pills, low carb diet, high protein. I have gained 40 pounds back. I need to see a doctor soon now!!! . Please tell me if your doctor is a good doctor.
Does anybody know of a clinic or doctor in the Henderson area that does the B12/Lipotropic injections? Please help me out with a name and phone number, I would realy appreciate it very much, thanks.
Hi Liz, have you found a doctor in Vegas yet, if so let me know because I am also desperately looking for one that is good. I have lost 50lbs with the B12/lipotropic injections before, used to take phentermine tabs, low carb, high protein diet. So I would love to go that route again but need to find a doctor that does that. I have phone a couple of doctors and clinics out of the yellow pages but no one seems to do the B12/Lipotropic combination injections, does anybody know if there is a specific reason for it or am I doing my searches wrong? Thanks
I lost 32 pounds using Phentermine (37.5), a low fat diet (30 grams a day) and exercising a total of 3 hours a week, in three months, two years ago. Phentermine gave me a good dose of extra energy without feeling jittery, and was a great appetite suppressant so I was EASILY able to refuse the high fat foods. (I didn't even WANT the bad stuff!!)
I got my diet pills through Dr. Goldman's clinic in NW LV, called Lone Mountain Medical, which is no longer in business. However, I noticed the doctor has two new clinics now opened.
I can't remember exactly how much it all cost...somewhere around $350 total, but it was worth every cent! I didn't take the shots or extra pills offered. The Phentermine DID give me a short bout of insomnia (2 days) and occasional heart palpitations, which I hardly noticed and subsided once I was off the medication.
I have gained 8 pounds back over the summer thanks to "falling off the wagon". I haven't gone to the gym in about 6 months and have gone back to my bad eating habits. I'm considering going back to Dr. Goldman for a month. I hope information helped.
Correction... my doctor's name (as mentioned by a previous poster) is Dr. Goldsmith. I think he still operates out of West Tropicana Medical Center- 6787 W.Trop Ste. 110 702-367-0808, but I could be wrong.
I'm curious if the Low Cost Weight Loss' $40 a week fee includes Phentermine, and if not, how much they charge for the pills (Dr. Goldsmith's office charges $1 a pill).
I just made an appointment for the Low Cost Weight Loss Center (258-8456). The payment schedule is a bit different than posted above.
The first visit costs $75, which includes the medication prescribed. Thereafter the weekly fee is $35 including medication. Shots are an extra $7.
I am new to this weight loss stuff. I have been basically a normal weight my entire life until now....I feel so out of control....I have a good eating program but my weight seems to be looming out of control...I feel it inside.....I am approaching 50 in a few months....is this my problem.....My weight has gone from 8 years ago115 to 6 months ago 122 and now I am 128 and starting to go over that....it seems every couple of weeks I see a new number that I never have seen before.... I have had blood work and my thyroid checks out o.k. I exercise as well.....help!
Internal Health on Sahara and Rampart does HCG plan. I do not have details but they are a great office. My chiro is there (the best in the world) and they have a holistic doctor and colonics too.
The place at Durango & D.I. is called Unicorn. They have an initial start up fee of $185.00 for lab work & an ekg, after that it's $150.00 per month for B6/B12 shots, not including any prescription. I have been looking for a place just to get B12 shots and nothing else without the ridiculous "start-up" fees.
I haven't had any success with the B12 shots, but did really well with phentermine & low cal/low fat diet.
My doctor was Dr. Ravi Ramanathan (Dr. Ram) and on occasions, when my schedule didn't work out with his, I would have my appointment with his PA, Mark Gibson. The practice is Family Doctors of Green Valley and location is 8475 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 204. Phone: 616-9471
It isn't set up like some of these weight loss centers with start up fees, etc. It's just a regular doctor's visit and covered by insurance if you have an accepted carrier. And they don't prescribe...you have to fall within the appropriate BMI category, go through usual medical history, get an EKG and/or stress test and then, you have to agree to make modifications to current exercise and diet routine. If you're not losing weight, they'll see if other adjustments can be made. However, if you're not holding up to your end of the bargain (w/the diet & exercise and losing at subsequent appointments), you won't get the refill.
It's a bit of tough love, but it really worked for me.
I tried the low cost weight loss clinic off Rainbow...They charged me $75 first visit, only weighed me and offered me Bontirl, one a day, and told me it would only work during the day and I would be "on my own in the evenings"...at a whopping $45 a week, after the first week I told them the bontril did not work for my appetite, and that I was hungry in the evenings...They refused to give me a stronger dose without a release from my orthopedic surgeon in California...so while I wait for the red tape, I am struggleing like crazy to keep from gaining more weight. Also the clinic will re-start me on a weekly program again after changing my meds to "monotor me". That means I will have to drive from North Las Vegas to the clinic weekly for another month to get the meds...my fear is that they will once again give me only enough to get me through the day and leave me "on my own" in the evenings. So, I am changing doctors...I met someone who is going to Dr. Goldman and he gives her one tab for the day and 1/2 tab for the evenings and a Vit B shot weekly. Good luck with the clinic...
I WEIGHED LIKE 325 ABOUT 9-10 YRS AGO I NOW WEIGHT 189 AND PUSHING HIGHER MY LOWEST WAS 155. I STOPED THE PHENTREMINE CUZ I MOVED FROM CALI TO VEGAS AND I AM EXPLODING, I NEED A DR BADDDDD! Just an FYI I get a prescripton for B12 through my PCP. I give the shots to myself monthly, I may start increasing them though. I only pay my co-pay to the pharmacy and they usually provide me with needles. It is very easy and I have been doing this for years.
does anyone know a dr that may take anthem i know its a shot in the dark but i need to start somewhere..i had my 3 rd child about 2 years ago and i have literally blown up..went from 115 to pushing 200 and im only 5'..ive heard about phentermine but dont know where to start..my friends have now told me that its time to do something now so that means something when loved ones say i need to start..ive taken this change very hard and have pretty much distanced myself from everyone because i dont like my self..so i hope someone out there can give me some advice and where i can start my journey to finally finding myself again..
Thanks for the info.
