Fatty Liver Info Post got deleted before I could copy the info...can you provide answers again? Bass Master, and Blessed and I think Rockgril sent replies.
I just found out I have a fattyXanthoma liver and was asking if the hCG protocol was appropriate. Did it get deleted because there were specific email addresses on the posts? If so, sorry.
OMG! I can't believe it's gone. I did a search and the link comes up but says page no longer available when clicked. It's no longer listed in the posts.
Bass_Master was nice enough to post that info for us and I just logged on to copy all the info as I'm on my way to pick up the items he suggested. I'm really upset. What's up with that, Medhelp?
If you juice, I have a question. I always found it difficult to get much juice from spinich, parsley, etc. so I purchased a top of the line Breville. Awesome machine but even with the low speed, I'm not getting anything from spinich. Some folks suggested rolling it in a ball first but it's not working for me. Any suggestions?
Thank you all for reposting...and BM, thanks for all of the detail. If Med Help is wondering, I will research anything before I take it. The thing is, you need a place to start researching. My PCP (a PA) had NO CLUE to do any of this for a fatty liver! She even told me her husband had the same problem!
Perhaps the posts were deleted due to mine and blessed email address?
Thank you all again. This will be hard to do the cleanse and eat EXTREMELY well. But I guess if I do not do it....I am truly killing myself. I have too much to live for to only rely on the instant satisfaction hot fudge and cookies provide.
BM: Thanks. I'll try the cabbage. I've never done that before. Mostly kale, celery, spinich, parsley, carrots, cukes, beets, ginger...and always with an apple so it tastes better. I don't like eating veggies anyway so this helps a lot....especially since I have absorbtion issues. You're so right about juicing. I used to have an organic market near me that juiced. I loved it because their veggies and fruit were always fresh & organic. Juicing always makes me feel better even with the fibromylagia (fibromyalgia), liver problems and exhaustion. There is no juice bar where I moved to so began juicing on my own. YES...it must be fresh. I drink it immediately. No sense in drinking old juice that has lost its nutritional value. Thankfully, there is a place about 8 miles away that just purchased a wheat grass juicer. It's a trip but worth the ride occassionally. I swear, a shot of WG and my body just smiles inside!
V52: Do you think you will start the HCG program after you do all of the above? I sure hope it will be okay with us. As you probably know, I've been having problems taking even small amounts of HCG.
Blessed: You have my email. If you don't mind, please email me the lipo link. Do you have a fatty liver as well? Perhaps your losing better then me on HCG because of the lipo. After I care for my liver as Stephen suggested, I'm going to see your doc. BTW, my oncologist tested my B levels. Says there fine and won't give me the B-12 shots. In the meantime, I'll try my PCP then off to Waxsaw after all is said and done for your protocol.
I am unsure of the hCG at this point, but would really like to do it in the future. I found out last night that my Uncle had the same thing, but he drank and developed cirhosis at a very young age. So, I reallly need to look into my liver further. I am going to speak to my baratric Dr. this Wed. and I will ask him. But, he is an old codger (I say that kindly), like 95 or something, so I don't think he is....up to date? I could be wrong, because he used to do the hCG shots!
For now....I will go back on the phen and start incorporating juicing and the recommendations BM suggested. I know the phen is not the healthiest, but I have got to get some of this weight off.
Hey, V52......the old codger may know more than any of us....lol. HCG/Simeon's protocol has been around since the early 50's.
Now, as far as a juicer, I would avoid the Jack LaLanne's, Juiceman, etc. I've had both and had problems with each after very little use and paying over $100 each. Their all hype...after all, someone has to pay for all those infomercials.
One thing you want to look for is a large shoot to avoid alot of chopping first. A powerful motor is necessary for harder produce. I did a lot of reseach in January after my new LaLanne burned out (again) and found that Breville makes a great juicer. I went overboard and purchased the top of the line (home use) model. It is pricey at $299.00 but got it for $220 on eBay. This is a Die-Cast model. I often had problem with plastic breaking on other machines....not just the motors.
BREVILLE DIE-CAST JUICE FOUNTAIN ELITE 800JEXL
If you don't want to spend that much, I think you'll be good with the:
BREVILLE JE95XL JUICE FOUNTAIN PLUS.
That's the middle model, has two speeds...more rpm's, etc. then competitors. You should be able to get it on eBay anywhere from from $70 to $95. I think it's $150 on Breville.com. If purchased on eBay, make sure seller is reputable, check s&h fees, and that juicer is new in box and not a re-manufactured item. Now might be a good time to get one. I purchased in the beginning of January during New year resolution period and auctions were skyrocketing then. I had no choice since mine had broke during that period.
Hope this helps. I'm going to work on my liver for awhile, as well. Don't know what to do about meds though. I take so many but have been coming off them little by little. BM is right. Meds are tough on the liver. I hate that the docs give me so much. I honestly think that why I continue to become more ill.
I'm so disappointed as I've been using HCG for 2 1/2 months now. I was really looking forward to ordering myself and giving more and higher doses. At least now I realize why I was feeling so crappy when everyone else felt great. Still can't figure out why I felt so darn good while I was preggy! Had plenty of HCG then....lol.

I always do raw veggie juice & used to do Milk thistle. I stopped the latter as I didn't feel better. However, in conjuction with these other items, I bet I'll feel much healthier.

Any Juicing machine recommendations?
Thanks!
