Gain weight

by gargaumulo, Jul 14, 2007 02:05PM
Hi

I'm a 17 year old male, always been quite skinny. I'm 6'0 feet tall and i got a weight on 128 pounds.

I exercise 3 times a week, 75 min each time, except that i don't do any activities where you use your whole body, except walking etc.

I don't really have any problem gaining the weight, but i have a hard time finding a balance, i don't want to gain any weight in fat, only mucles, and it's said that you shouldn't exceed 2 pounds/week, or it will be fat that you've gained.

I started eating more, thought i don't think i eat that much still, but i've gained 7 pounds the last week. Which seems quite alot to me.

So any tips for to gain weight by only mucles and to help me find a balance, how shall i do?

Carbs and Protien

ONLY if you are using it wisely. (meaning dont drink a weight gainers shake and then watch tv for 4 hours. lol)

My ex is a body builder. He ate potatoes and turkey. All the time. It was gross because he would boil the turkey and eat the potatoes RAW like an apple.

But he had to gain weight too for muscle mass, not fat obviously. he also took lots of muscle building supplements before and after working out. I know there was one he took for putting water into muscles so they wouldnt lose mass - because most times when you lose water weight it will destroy the muscles.

I forget the names, Im so sorry for that, but any GNC store cn lead you in the right direction =D Oh and check out muscle bodybuilding magazines too, they always have tips on healthy weight gain.
