Gall Bladder Removal & Weight Loss
Is it true that gall bladder removal will lead to weight loss as the body is unable to absorb fat without a gall bladder?

If it were true I would be near normal weight. Don't count on weight loss as being a side effect of gall bladder removal. From my experience you can gain weight just as quickly after you have your gall bladder removed as before the removal.

Hi rubie30.
I had my gall bladder removed last May. I have not gained weight, but have gained a roll of fat around my waist and under my ribs.
