Getting started on Phase 1

by exmahn, May 24, 2007 12:00AM
It seems I am having problems sticking to the Phase 1.  Did anyone else not follow the first phase strictly and still lost weight on Phase 2?  I am waiting for HCG to come in the mail, but am not able to stick to the first Phase.  I wonder how much of an impact this will have on me.  Any suggestions?

What is this phase one and phase two?  Is this a diet that goes along with the hcg injections?  If so can someone let me know?  thanks!

The original diet only had what they are referring to as Phase 2. That diet protocol was developed by Dr Simeon, a well-regarded MD who studied the obese, then worked with them for his entire career, with much success in the area of weightloss.  Supposedly this was a program used only by the Wealthy due to the requirement of a rather expensive clinic stay for 6 weeks at a time.

Kevin Trudeau came up with Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III approach, which he details in his new book "The weightloss cure". (reason for Phase I is to eliminate toxins in your body and prepare it for the diet - based on how we've poluted our environement and food since Dr Simeon's time).  There is some merit to many items in Phase I, although I personally do not agree with all the items he lists in Phase I.

I monitored this blog for a month before I decided what to do. From postings, I realized the people who did Phase I (particularly the Cleanses in phase I) were having more success with Phase II.  I decided to do Phase I based on that, and I will be through soon and start Phase II June 5th.

OOPs! Forgot your second question:  Yes, the Diet protocol includes HCG shots daily (or 5-6 days a week/1-2 off) and a 500 Calorie a day diet (some clinics give you a 750-800 calorie per day plan).

The VLCD (very low Calorie diet) causes you to lose weight, and the hcg shots help to target the right areas as well as give you a feeling of well-being. Many people need nothing more, others take an appetite supressor also.

HCG shots also contribute to resetting the Hypathumus gland so you don't regain weight after the diet.

I'd recommend doing Phase I.   After reading Kevin's book I read alot on the net about colon's and candida and heavy metal.  They all tell you how  you get all clogged up and this inhibits weight loss. Plus if you read them and see what's in your body you'd really want to do the cleanses.

Sorry, I'm not there yet.  I did research on hcg and monitored the Blogs for a month before deciding to do the hcg diet protocol, then I started phase 1.     I'm in my final week of Phase 1.  Will start Phase 2 June 5th.  From Phone conversations with the Clinic I will be visiting on June 4th, they told me I will get premixed, ready in use Hcg shots at the visit, then they will mail supplies afterward which I will have to mix.  I'm supposed to view a video while at my appointment that explains the mixing instructions.

As far as your question:  Where to get hcg?  There aren't a lot of places in the USA to get hcg.  Some people are getting it through online Pharmacies, others are working with Clinics. Clinics are scarce. I'm only watching for ones in the midsection and south, since I live in Texas. The one I will be going to is Transformations in Tulsa, OK. They also have a Tennessee location. NHW (Native healing ways) seems to be another people are having good success with. I believe they are in South Carolina and Tennessee. There are others in Florida, Houston, Southern California, and a new one in Ft Worth. There are others across the USA, but I have not kept track of blog posts on any others.

I know nothing about the various Pharmacies where people are getting supplies without working with a doctor and/or Clinic (they would have to be uutside the USA).

Looking for info on the HCG Clinic in Ft. Worth, Tx.  Does anyone know where I can find it?

Ft Worth Website is www.hcgweightsolution.com.  They require that they follow your through Phase I ( Trudeau's Phase 1) before prescribing HCG.
