HCG Proven to work or not?

I am scheduled to go for my first appointment with Dr. Hussein for HCG injections to promote weight loss. I am really nervous and sceptical, I have tried everything to lose weight and have read articles stating that HCG does not "really" work. I was wondering if anyone has any comfort to offer or information that will ease my mind that it isn't a waist of time and money.Thanks to all.

Went and got my injection Friday. Dr. Hussein also gave me Bontril to take once a day, also on 1000 calorie a day diet, along with 20 min. minimum exercise a day. At the moment starving to death, but I am starting to learn what types of things to eat and how to look for specific calories in foods in order to help me eat more. Fridays weight was 195 lbs, and this mornings weight is 190 lbs. I will keep updating how I am doing,thanks for all the helpful information!!

Transformations Weight Loss is here in Tulsa, Ok and I'm thinking about giving it a try.  I beleive they use HCG injections plus appetite suppressants.  From what I've read here, many of you have tried it and it seems to work!  I've tried everything and at 59 yrs old had finally decided that I'm doomed to being 20-25 lbs overweight!!  Maybe this is the answer, hopefully, because I sure can't do it on my own!  Does anyone have an idea of cost??

Hi there!  I especially would like to wish each of you the kind of success that makes you happy.  Let me share with you all how I look at any realm of weight loss.  Long time ago on another weight loss kick, I had lost 2 lbs.  I was so disgusted.  Amazingly, the Lord showed me something that has forever changed my outlook about any amount of weight loss!  After the appointment and a lot of tears, I had to go to the grocery store like most moms do. While I was looking at the hamburger meat, I saw a package that weighed 2 lbs.  Almost immediately, the Lord said– "That's what you lost right there– 2 lbs!"  As I held the 2lb hamburger in my hand, tears welled in my eyes.  Those 2lbs in my hand felt soooo significant that I couldn’t be sad anymore.  Weight loss is WEIGHT LOSS no matter how small or big!   Continue to be positive about all of your weight loss.  Little success grows into GREATER success!   Stay focused and allow God to help you through your goals. (This helps me!)

(kntx-keep up the good work! Interesting phenomenon about the headaches being a sign of weight loss.  I have them at times too.  I just thought it was a fluke of the process. Hey, maybe I am losing weight too at the sign of headache.  If so– Great!)

I have an appointment with Dr Hussein can you tell me how much it cost...i forgot to ask???  Has anyone heard of him giving out topamax as well for weight loss???   Where does everyone get their meds filled???   Just curious?????
