HCG pills VS shots

I know this is probably already posted on here somewhere, but I need to know what the difference is between HCG shots and pills.  Do they make pills that have the same "cocktail" as the shots ? I'm thinking about going to Dr. G or Sara Brown in Huntersville (I've read she takes insurance)but if I could do this cheaper on my own by buying pills, ofcourse I'd rather do that. Also, I've been taking Lipovox for a week now and I do seem to get fuller quicker (Lean Cuisine) I usually have to eat 2 of these to know I've eaten ! and we had birthday cake at work last week and I did pretty well staying away from it. :) Anyone have any experience with the Lipovox ?

I've been told by doctors that the oral HCG isn't as effective as the shot.  I get the shots in Asheville, NC and have been satisfied with the results and have had no side effects.  Good luck!! I've lost 40 pounds (while dieting also -- not just the shots) and feel great. Its wonderful to be able to go buy clothes again without feeling like crying!

Have you guys noticed a weight loss with just the shots ?  I'm not really too keen on taking the Phent, I've heard of it raising BP and heart rate, neither of which I care to mess with.  A friend of mine works with a girl that has lost from a sz 14 to a 4 with no exercise, just the pills and shots.  But the Phent just curbs your appetite right, it does't really make the fat go away ??  Is that right ?

I didn't get weight loss with just the shot.  The doctor said the hcg just makes the fat easier to lose -- you still have to take in fewer calories than you burn to lose weight.  I didn't use diet pills but, at least as I have always understood it, the pills don't affect your weight at all, they just make you less hungry so you eat less.

I lost 42 pounds. It took me about 4 and 1/2 months to lose it and so far I've kept it off. I got the injections along with a diet program to follow which basically is just eating healthy and watching calories. I've continued to do that and had no problem keeping it off and actually just lost another 2 pounds. I'm not taking the shots anymore.
