HELP.........Grams verses OZ

I have a scale from the USPS that weights in lbs and ounces.
How do we weight in Grams?

I have a kitchen scale that weighs in grams and ounces...100 grams = 3.5 oz.

Okay so 3.1/2 Oz is 1 Gram.

I'm sure that was a typo, but 3.5 oz is 100 grams...just wanted to make sure you read that correctly!!
