I am looking in to starting this weight loss program in 2 weeks. I have been trying to read and research as much as I can on it. I have a friend who did the program a few years ago and says in worked great (with diet and exercise of course). I am concerned about side effects and weight gain after stopping the program. I gained 55lbs with my son and I have been trying to lose the weight. I started weight watchers in February and have lost 20lbs so far. I cannot lose any more weight.I have plateaued at 20lbs. I really want to lose 30 more lbs and believe this can help me. The program I am considering uses a combination of phentermine 37.5 mg, b12 injections, and triamterene (the water pill). This is the clinic information
Internet Medical Clinic (MedPro)

7447 Harwin Drive

713-541-6988

Cost: $110-for 60day supply of appetite sup., water pills and B12 shot

Is this really effective? what about after the program? will i blow up?

SO NERVOUS.....

I am a MA that works for a weight loss facility. Our patient's that are on the hCG + B-12 injections, which follow a very low calorie diet, loose between 2-5 lbs a week. Now some times a week will go by where they only lost 1 lbs but they lost 3 inches. You can not always view your progress on the weight you have to go by the inches also. Now I was on  the program for 8 weeks and I lost 26.lbs. I have been off for 1 month and have not gained anything.

I hope that helps

hi every one i just started goig to a weight loss center " 45 clinic" they said its basically the same thing but the pills they gave me are white with blue dots , a friend that lost about 40 pounds in a month said the one she got at harwin were yellow and that she only would take half a pill a day ? does any one know if those are better ? to loose weight fast ?

I lost about 50 with the help of the meds and over a 100#'s total.  I still do the shots every other week.
The yellow ones are a 25mg strength and unlike the white speckled 37.5 mg strength, the drug releases out into your body immediately. The white ones are time released. Some doctors will use these in a combination of ways.
I can not stress enough that this is a short term solution- if changes are not made to your fitness and eating habits- the weight will come back.
