Issues with three lac/ yeast cleanse

by kraftygirl, Apr 19, 2007 12:00AM
Hi I was just wondering if others that have used thre lac or other yeast cleansers encountered the same symptoms.  I'm finishing phase 1 program for hcg diet.  I was taking 4 packets of thre lac for last two weeks w/oxygen.  I noticed fatigue, aches, pains, and high carb cravings and fogggy head.  It felt like someone sucked the life out of me.  I'm a pretty healthy person.  I eat a low-glycemic organic diet.  Mostly low glycemic veggies, fruit, lean protein, some lentils etc.  I also take alot of supplements, omega-3, flax, antioxidants, coral calcium, b-complex etc liquid oxygen etc.  Also I have done many cleanses in past 3 years.  I'm just wondering why I'm having such an issue with getting rid of the yeast and why its causing so many issues trying to get rid of it.  Wondering if anyone has any ideas, suggestions etc.  Yes, I can't wait till the hcg comes in so I can start and rid the rest of the weight!!

The Threelac is great for candida/yeast. How much of the Oxygen are you taking?
That would be the place to look first. If your taking more then 7 drops 3 times a day this could be it and if you did not start off slow on the Oxygen it could really be causing some healing/cleansing.

Drink lots of water and take a good digestive enzyme with cellulase in it because the outer membrain of Candida is cellulose and the enzyme will help in digesting and eliminating the dead stuff.

Hope this helps. Oh and you might try only 3 Threelac and see how that goes but start with the Oxygen.
Good luck, Mo

Thanks for the info.  Oxygen I was taking 10 drops 2 times a day.  I dropped the threlac today down to 2 and seemed to feel better.  I also haven't had the oxygen today.  I do take digestive enxymes but probably not enough.  Do you know of a good probiotic?  I am currently taken one it is latobacillius only.  I'm just not sure if I need single strain only or multiple.  There seems to be so much controversy over them.  Potency and different strains and how some are actually non-beneficial because they are dead before entering the intestine?  More suggestions would be great.  Thank you!  Also do you know what the long term benefits of the oxygen are?  I'm always learning as I'm getting healthier.  (about 3 years now)

Many people take the oxygen for over all health benefits.
It's great for energy Athletes use it and people even give to their animals.
Its great for cleansing the body.
Our cells are very oxygen depleted.

There is a great video on the Oxygen Elements and even Threelac for that matter.
I love the two products I was sick for 4 1/2 yrs with candida and this was what cured mine.

I think you will probably feel a little better backing off some. Let me know if you see any differance after slowing down some.

Depending how toxic you are you are probably just cleansing,

There are many great probiotics out there.
Fivelac is Threelac only with the added probiotics.
The Dr Ohhira's is the one I am using now I really like it alot!

That being said the Jarrowdophilus EPS is great and inexpensive and you can get at your local health food store.
Take your probiotics at night before going to bed.
Drink lots of water and have at least 2 BM's a day!

Good Luck!

how can you tell if three lac is working?

I would think that you would feel out of it for a few days while the cleanse is doing its job and killing spores, etc.. then you should feel like you have a ton of energy. You should also notice that your carb and sugar cravings are virtually non - existant and when you do eat sugary things like ice cream it may taste way way too sweet for you. Hope this helps!

I have tried a candida diet among other cleansing pills and tinctures for months. I find it's difficult to maintain the diet for more than a few weeks at a time. I lost a significant amount of weight to the point others have voiced concerns that I have become too skinny! Nothing seemed to help much. I continued to have yeast infections and feel generally fatiqued each time I ate something that I shouldn't (Gluten,m etc.). I have been on threelac for only two and a half weeks and have not suffered from yeast infections. I have eaten foods that I shouldn't with minimal fatigue! I am feeling so much better and I am amazed at the results. Threelac may be somewhat expensive but it's definately worth it, especially when you have come to the point that you think nothing will work!
