uhm...well you really cant do anything to lose a ton of weight fast...the healthiest thing to do is to diet and excercise to lose about a pound or two a week...to kick start my diet i fasted for three days...i only drank REAL juices i recomend brewhouse juice you can find them in the produce section at albertsons...and i also would drink one or two protein shakes a day mixed with real fruit. and i was drinking A LOT of water...you dont want to fast everything and only drink water because your body will think its starving and it will hold onto your body fat for insulation, and will atrophe your muscles for energy. which is why i drank the protein. i also up'ed my work outs adding weight training to the mix. BUT DONT DO IT MORE THAN THREE DAYS!!!! any more than that and your only doing harm to your body. i dont know how much weight i lost but i lost an inch in my waist by doing that for three days. i also drank one bowl of soup on the third day. but once you start eating again you'll gain back a tiny bit, but im still down to a 31 inch waist so its not for nothing you know? i cannot stress enough how important it is to NEVER fast more than three days as long as you are drinking plenty of water, juice and protein!!!! NEVER fast all foods and drinks! your body needs energy to function! and if your not feeding it it will use your muscles instead of your fat. you will then want to start a journal of every little thing you eat. studies show that the average person who journals their caloric intake loses twice as much weight as the average person who doesnt. write down everything you eat it really helps to put into perspective what you are REALLY eating...when i did i realized that i wasnt eating enough calories(energy), and my body was holding onto the fat resulting in ZERO weight loss. also, when you go shopping for food...browse the perimeter...dont go down the aisles! its a good tip to purchasing only the "good for you" stuff...thats where you'll find fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, and grain. down the aisles are the "bad for you stuff"...processed foods like chips and candy...even the bad stuff disguised as good stuff like protein bars...their just full of empty calories and their food density isnt very good...(thats where the amount of food is relative to how many calories its worth) an average protein bar is as much as 300 calories...when you could have a healthy salad or a lean chicken breast sandwich for just a little more. those are the best tips i can give you for weight loss. what ever you do DO NOT stop eating...and eat your pyriamid...meaning be sure to fill up on your recomended daily intake of all the food groups, instead of just eating a ton of carbs and meats....thats what i realized what i was doing i would skip breakfast...have a high carb lunch and a high carb dinner and i wasnt getting any fruits, and little vegies...be sure to keep it balanced. good luck and write back with updates!!! : )

i also recomend adding the weight tracker on here its really helpful in keeping track of your calories...and thats where i journal my food for the day. im lucky to be able to long in several times a day to keep track but if you just write it down on paper and then update it every night...thats good too.
