Lexapro weight gain and withdrawal side effects

by mingchi, Feb 02, 2007 12:00AM
I was on Lexapro for almost 8 months but on a very low dose, i gained 12-15 lbs in that amount of time.  I have been weened off of it now and have been Lexapro free for 2 weeks.  My question is am i the only one who gets the electrical shock side effect.  Its the worst feeling in the world, I haven't felt completely manic yeet but have felt these shocks and a feeling of like my equiliberum has been off?

A friend of mine had the pains in her face while on it. It might take a few weeks to get out of your system. I am on 20 mg daily and have gained about 80 lbs in 3 years! I'm going to ask about another to change to. Good luck to you.
