Lexapro weight gain

I am so surprised to hear that Effexor and/or Lexapro has caused weight gain.  My son and I have both been on these drugs and we both lost between 15 and 25 lbs.  I guess it really depends on each persons body type.  Good luck

Well I gained 15 lbs over a few months on the product and another friend gained as well.  I think more gain than lose.  But, truthfully I am glad you didn't gain.  It is hard enough when you need to lose weight already to pack on another 15...

I have been on Lexapro for about 6 months now and actually am losing weight so thats not helping me with gaining or holding weight.
