Lipo-dissolve results and costs

by elbow, Jun 08, 2007 12:00AM
Hi All:

New here but I have read the previous threads about lipodissolve and wanted to catch up on people's progress.  I had my first upper and lower belly treatment on Monday.  It was painless.  I did not have the itching (the place I go - NuU Medspa) has benadryl in the solution so maybe that is why.  Some dime sized bruises appeared but are now very light.  The bruises felt like bruises -- meaning, they hurt if you pushed on them or bumped them but if not, you did not notice them.

Hubby says he sees a difference, but he is probably being nice.

Where is everyone else?  I signed up for 6 treatments and they are 3 weeks apart.

Can you tell me what the Lipodissolve is all about.  It sounds like it dissolves the fat in the tummy.  Is that what its suppose to do?Whats the results.  I take it that it is in shot form.

Could you give me a run down on it, in an email to my email address?

It's ***@****

I started treatments in june of 06 in Overland Park at the advanced lipo dissolve they changed there name to FIG now.....I also had lost nothing....I feel like it is causing me to gain weight also......Im 24 years old im not over weight and was also a perfect canidate they told me. They talked me into doing the swan program........I requested a refund in feb of 07 and found out the end of march I was approved for my full $10,000 and it could take up to 60 days to recieve.......it is now june 1st 2007 and have yet to see any of my money. They keep giving me the run around. I was told 10 weeks ago my account is in accounting and when my money is credited back to my account they will call me and to stop calling them.....I don't think they acually give your money back....I have contacted the better business bureau and the attorny generals office today so hopefully someone can help me out here.

I had great results from my Lipodissolve treatments.  I avoided the franchise operations, and went to an office that advertises their doctor's name and has the same doctor do all the treatments.  She has been performing the treatments for over 3 years, and has the pictures to prove it.  They were honest with me about the side effects...  There was no pressure and my treatments cost $500 each.  They gave me some pain medication right before the treatment.  Then the  nurse did an ultrasound massage to the area, then they used a cold blower to numb the area while the doctor injected 100 cc's in my belly.  I wore a surgical binder after my treatment and had very little swelling.  I had 2 treatments about 3 weeks apart and went from a size 12 to size 8 jeans!
It seems like other people complain after they get these tiny treatments with only 10 or 30 cc's.  Maybe these franchises do not know what they are doing and are only out to make a buck.

Mesotherapy is much more effective. Make sure teh procedures are perfromed by a doctor and not nurse or PA.  Also make sure the procedure is perfromed using 25gauge, 3.5" (spinal needle) utilizing fan approch and not multiple injections.
