LipoDissolve

by GIJenny, May 15, 2007 12:00AM
Okay, so after I was on steroids and gaining over 30lbs, I became very frustrated.  I have lost 32 lbs from phentermine (before steroids) but now that doesn't work and I've tried Trudue's Diet with HCG shots and that hasn't worked either (well, lost 3).  I am very active and work out 4-6 days a week.  Weight training and an hour on the treadmill or eliptical.  I was going crazy until I heard about this LipoDissolve.  I saw pictures on www.fig.com and they have a place in Matthews, NC. with Dr. Ferrari but I have to wait till August 14.  Anyone ever done this before?

I have heard really negative things about lipo dissolve even from this forum.  Someone here created a web page describing her horrible experience and other people used her web page to describe their horrible experience too. Im not 100% sure but I think the web page was lipodissolvedoessuck.com (something like that) just take a look at it before you committ to it.

They talked me into doing the swan program........I requested a refund in feb of 07 and found out the end of march I was approved for my full $10,000 and it could take up to 60 days to recieve.......it is now june 1st 2007 and have yet to see any of my money. They keep giving me the run around. Hi,

I went to FIG in Las Vegas Nevada,  I was told I would have to go on there diet and lose 40 lbs first and of course they had medifast supplies there. Which would cost me around $300.00 Dallors a month. and the shots would cost $2000.00 and area of 6 shots. ( If i have to go on a diet to lose 40 lbs,  why in the heck would I want the shots. Well I told them I could go home and order medifast on line and get it cheaper, as you know they didn't like that.
Thier's is better. Its made with soy milk base.  Myself it might be ok for thin people, But no over weight ones. I really think its a scam to sell medifast products.

briez01, I just started at the OP fig this month.  I also feel like I'm gaining weight, but it's only been a couple of pounds.  However, since you swell up after the treatment, water is going to those areas, so I'm hoping it's just water retention.  I got my second treatment 3 days ago.  I just want to know if you still went ahead and got all 6 treatments and how are your results now?

I have been working for fig. (formerly Advanced LipoDissolve Center) for over a year now, and have recently started looking at the blogs about LipoDissolve.  I can tell you that the company is very committed to patient satisfaction, and the procedure really does work for the majority of patients.  I've read several blogs from patients who are dissatisfied with our refund process, but we absolutely do give refunds to patients who follow the assigned protocols for treatment and still see no results.  I know, because I see the checks being mailed!  Some patients demand their money back even though they have measurable results, and I think that's very unfortunate for the company.

I've had 8 treatments on the backs of my arms, and I have had spectacular results.  I can say that my arms actually look and feel thin now, and that has made a huge difference in my self esteem and body image.

I also know that thousands of our patients are getting healthy and losing weight on the Medifast plan that we offer at our centers.  The products are convenient and accessible, and the nurses on staff are very knowledgeable about how the plan works.  Medifast is just one aspect of our business, and it was chosen because it is a medically engineered weight loss program.  We are working closely with the most respected medical professionals in the country to develop more weight loss product offerings for our patients who may not yet qualify as candidates for the Advanced Lipodissolve treatment.  Again, I know this because I have personally met these doctors and arrange their visits to our office.

I would encourage anyone who is thinking about lipodissolve, or who has heard negative things about the treatment, to visit our website at www.fig.com.  There are many links to helpful and positive information that was not written or published by anyone at this company.  We believe in what we do, and I for one am very proud of how we help thousands of people feel better about themselves every day.  Another great link to check out if you'd like to see a different perspective is from the CBS early show: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/07/24/earlyshow/health/main3094489.shtml#ccmm

Sorry for the delayed response...I haven't had a chance to check this blog for a few days.  You ask a good question.  Yes, you can buy Medifast online, but if you are near a fig. location, I would recommend that you at least schedule an appointment for a free Personal Body Management consultation with one of our RNs.  One of the biggest factors for success with any weight loss program is having the correct knowledge and support.  Our staff has extensive knowledge about Medifast, and we have numerous support tools that can help you reach your goals.  You may be paying less online, but you’re not getting the benefit of a discussion/analysis of your medical history or that personal relationship with someone who will continue to be available to help you along the way.  Don't forget, you will also have to pay the shipping costs for the product.  For more information, please check out the “Personal Body Management” section under the “Our Services” tab on our web site: www.fig.com.
