I am new to Las Vegas, the Summerlin area. I need a weight loss doctor to help me with the twentyTwenty twenty pounds I put on since I had surgery a few years ago. I have tried everything and nothing seems to help my ravenous appetite. I am now leaning towards prescription medication even though I am concerned about the side effects. Thank you in advanceAdvance care plus Advance relief for any help you might be able to offer me.
My doctors office is on Durango north of DI (behind the VonsVon willebrand disease) Its called Unicorn Medical Weight Loss centers. There's also one in greenGreen tea valley. They aren't open on weekends but they are open 8 to 6pm Monday thru Friday. Once you've seen the DR and are getting your injections you come in whenever you want and it has never taken me longer than 10 minutes from signing in to walking out the door (actually its normally a 5 minute visit) Anyway they value your time! Of course dr's visits and consultations take longer. Their number is 702-227-1916.
I started 4/20/06 and one month later 5/21/06 I've lost 18 pounds total. Almost 20 pounds in a month!! I truely cant believe it, especially becuase it hasn't been that hard. Like other diets and you can only eat this at this time etc. The phentermine has REALLY helped with my appetite. I would estimate I'm on a 1000 calorie diet, although the DR gave me a packet for a 1200 calorie diet. The packet tells you what you need to eat and how many calories are in different meats, veggies, etc. but its hard to eat everything they tell you to when you're taking phentermine.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!
Again I have a journal on the previous page (where all the questions are) about my experience so far, It's dated 05/05/06 and the Question/title is "Robin67's experience with b12/b6 injections"

If you have some free time I started a journal on this forum when I began seeing the dr. Its a more detailed account of my experience. I pay $195 a month. That includes my Doctors consultation once a month (make sure everything is going ok, and measure me) I get 2 shots of b12/b6 a week (they offer B12 w/lipotropics, I think an extra $40 a month) I also get a months supply of phentermine, a water pill, and a multivitamin.
