Good Day Folks,
I am curious how many people have actually lost weight on Metformin. My A1C was 6.5 about 6 mo. ago and Dr. started me on metformin at that time. I just went back and A1C was 5.9. So I was pleased but discouraged because I can't loose weight. I have been working our everyday and not lost any weight. Dr. just increased Metformin from 1 pill a day to 2 this week and then ultimate goal is 3 per day. I have experienced some diahreah with the increase to 2 pills a day. But I am going for it because I want to loose weight really bad.
I am curious if anyone has lost weight from Metformin and how long it took to see some results???
