I have been on EffexorEffexor Effexor xr for about 2 years. I have gained 25 pounds. I have never in my life had a weight problem, was actually considered thin. I never knew weight gain could be a side effect until recently. I was wondering what I was doing because I don't feel like my eating habits have gotten that much worse, maybe a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys. Seems so difficult now to lose the weight. My depression has been better, but now the weight gain is really causing problems for me. Lower self esteem, I look in the mirror and do not like what I see, very frustrated. I would actually like to try to get off of my meds now. Not sure if it's the best idea, but I don't even feel good heavier. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?????
