Do some sort of non-impact exercise after your injury
is healed and keep your calories above 1200 otherwise your
body will think it is starving and will slow down your metabolism
and burn muscle instead of fat. People that continue to diet under
the 1200 calorie limit end up gaining weight eating only 500
calories.
As someone with longstanding back problems, my advice is NOT to run until fully healed. Each step just pounds on your back and with excess weight, that makes it all the more force with each step.
Have you considered a chiropractor for your back? If you're squeamish or skeptical about chiropractic, don't be. I'm a nurse and I'm telling you, it is worth having your back looked at by one. It's helped keep me stable and away from disc surgery for many years.
I am 5"8 and I weigh 195 lbs which is too damn big !!!
I hate to see people who i have not seen in a while, I hide, and do whatever I can to stay away. im tired of hiding my body from my boyfriend, and myself. He hates when i do, but I can't help it, I am ashamed of what I see.
I have started the b12 shot as of yeterday(March 12) as well as the pills. The pills have been working, because I have not been hungry.
I hope I can share my results and be happy a month from now. My next shot is scheduled 3 weeks from now, as well as my weigh in. I hope I loose atleast 8lbs. WE shall see.
