Hi CBEAM (and others receiving B12 Injections)--

I would like to know how you are fairing with weight loss using B12 Injections.  According to your previous posts, you started on 12/7.  

I started yesterday and would like to have some expectations of the B12 injection.  I will be self-adminstering weekly.

can you please tell me if these shots are only b-12 alone or are they combine with any other drugs to help you lose weight?  i have an apointment on monday to see dr. Kerendian.  i spoke to hime on the phone and he seems really nice and will post as soon as i see how things go for me. and also can you tell me where did you get you shots from?

I spoke with Dr. K yesterday. He indicated that he has a "special blend".  According to him, the cyanacobalamine is the cheapest and most readily available via the internet (this is what I am taking). He indicated that the cyanacobalamine can be toxic if not administered properly.  The other B12 injection comprises of hydroxycobalamine.  He said this is not toxic; however it is more expensive.  

Please let us know how you appointment goes. Also, provide us with your stats.  

I am praying to GOD that I see some results with the injections.

Hey this is CBEAM, well I don't have anything to report. I was going to a place to get my shots. I got 2 and haven't been back.  I can't stop eating, so it is defeating the purpose.  I have an appointment on January 3 at a Bariatric clinic here in North Carolina.  I am getting ready to get serious.  Before I went to a Physicians Weight Loss place (very different than Bariatric) they gave be 1/2 cc B12 for $12.50.  I have read this forum and wanted the 1000 but I would have to pay for 2 1/2 CC's.  SO I am going to the Clinic to get the appetite suppressants and the B12 shots.  I am 208...  My health is becoming effected because of my weight.  I want to lose it so bad.  I am also starting jazzercise on Jan 3.  I will let you guys know weekly on my progress.  Oh I will be 33 on January 4th. Have a Happy New Year, and I promise to log my progress with you guys.  This is great to have the support.

The Bariatric Clinic is on Holden Rd, Greensboro.  Physican Weight Loss is right across the street if you just want the B12 shot
