Pain below LIPO B injection site

I have been getting Lipo B-12 injections monthly for the past 9 months. I began having problems with one side (hip) and decided to give that one a break for a few months and only use the other. As soon as I started getting them in that one again the pain came back. It is several inches below the injection site and feels like a bruise. Black and blew with out the discoloration. he pain ahs never completely gone away since I gbegan the shots. Any ideas. I will speak with my doc at my next visit of course, but was wondering if this was a known side effect.
