I just got a prescription to start taking Phentermine.  Can anyone give me some feed back on this pill?  What kind of results have you had, how did you take it and how much, did you change your eatting habits?  
Also I heard this makes you have bad mood swings, has anyone had any problems with it?

I just started taking phentermine 2 weeks ago and have lost 8 pounds(132 right now) 5'2". My goal is to get back to 115-110 which is a healthy weight for my height. I had a tummy tuck last year along with a boob job. I am now a 32DD and wear a 5 jeans in juniors. Gosh I feel better than ever about myself and finally getting those last pounds off! This stuff really works.

I also took the 35 mg of adipex as prescribed by my dr.  She was great. I do weight watchers as well, but I wasn't losing anymore.  She said that this could help boost my metab., and it did.  I took it for 12 weeks, too, as the post above said.  My goal is 150, and it took off 31 lbs. +/- along with serious changes in eating.  I even found a diet margarita for the weekends.  LOL....  It really did help, and now I'm struggling b/c I'm so close to my goal, but last week I gained 1 lb.  My dr. told me that the first 3 weeks off, I should up my exercise to 5 days a week for 30-45 min., but I've had some difficulty getting it all in with being a sports mom and all.  I did get in 3 days of 45 min. rigorous, but the other 2 are just not happening yet.  I am getting worried, but I need to focus on eating to live, not living to eat.  My dad's heart dr. told him that, and I'll never forget it.

Im taking the phentermine and doing the low carb diet.  Has anyone tried this?  I hate to exercise.  I have a 9 month old and a 5 year old, they keep me pretty busy, so I dont have much time to exercise and when Im not running after them I want to relax or Im cooking diner or doing chores.  I have been taking them for 1 week and i have not lost yet. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Phentermine gives me extra energy to keep going for the most part. Some days when I take it, I am still hungry, and I can eat. some days I dont want to eat at all. I dont always take it everyday, sometimes I skip a day because it can be too strong for me. (I can wake up the next day and still feel it in my system.) Overall, I like the "pick me up" and it keeps me in control of what and when I eat for sure. As far as mood swings, YES! It can really put me in a mood. I think that is why the warnings say not to take it if you may suffer from depression, etc. It can really get me on an emotional roller coaster, IF I LET IT. Overall, it is very effective for weight loss and appetite control. The only thing I found is that it's somewhat addictive. Good luck finding what works for you.

Oh and I am doing the south beach diet, it really works well. I bought the book " the south beach diet" written by dr agaston and it gives you all the recipes to follow with explanations to why and what the new food choices are doing to help your body lose weight and stay healthy. It really really works. I lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I need the phentermine because I also have kids, and its so hard for me to resist certain foods when I am cooking for them, and the snacks that they eat. I try to give my kids heathly foods also, but I am sure you know what I mean with all the goodies that kids want and love!

I have been on Phentermine for one month and I have lost 21 lbs. My doctor gave me another 30 days and I hope to have the same results.  This pill takes your tiredness away and makes you want to move around.  Of COURSE my food has changed as well...I eat low calorie cereals with fruit for breakfast...veggies and fruits for snacks and just try to maintain a "healthy" lifestyle..  I LOVE BREAD and CHOCOLATE..BIG TIME...and I find if I have to indulge..I eat a Weight Watcher Zinger...80 calories.   Once someone says..."you losing weight"?..Thats ALL the motivation you need!!  After a week of the pills...I started walking 3 times a week...one mile...then 2 now I am up to 5.  You will see a dramatic difference with exercise...not killing yourself with running...basic walking! However doing alot of research..I found that the first 30 minutes of exercise burns of "sugar" in your system...the rest of the time fat is burned. I have also found that having a day to eat without counting calories is ok....your body needs a little "change" to keep it guessing!!!  Good LUCk!!

The Pharmacist where I get my scripts from is also on this.she has lost 60lbs ..I asked her about getting it online. Maybe its because its what she "has" to say...but she said that most of the time the things you get online without a Dr. prescription are usually not the real deal.  You probably should have your blood tested and a Dr. supervision with this.  Thats only my opinion...GOOD LUCK!

My dr. put me on Phentermine last Thursday, and i have already lost 5.5 lbs!! Before i tried everything to lose the weight, and nothing even budged it. With a new diet, and no more pop, along with ALOT of water, i think i'm off to a pretty good start!!

I am not sure if you can mix Xenical and Phenetrmine ...I do know that when I took Xenical there was a warning of one drug you should not take...I would call a Pharmacist.......they will tell you...You shouldnt need Xenical if you are taking Phenetrmine.......they work wonders!

I just started taking phentermine today. After having a baby 2 months  ago I find myself 40 pounds over weight and too tired from no sleep to exercise.  Hopefully this will help Im tired of wearing elastic waist pants nothing else fits.

if i could go back and never take phentermine i would have never touched it. i got the med through my doctor. i started noticing a probem with my eye sight and have been diagnosed with an eye diseas and would have eventually caused me problems. the symptoms where not gradual from the eye disease. one day my eye sight was fine the next day it is not. i feel that the med caused my eye disease to speed up and hope to find out soon if that is the case. when i went to my doctor my bp was 154 over 108. i have never had problems with my bp and now i do. the advice is to be under doctors care while taking this med.

I went to clinic to get phentermine and B-12 shot.  First day I took it, NO HUNGER, Great Right?  Well immediately I got a very strong pain in my back.  Thought maybe I picked up something that hurt me, but I had not.  The following day I took my second pill and it got so bad, I ended up going to the chiropractor (twice), massage therapist and eventually into the Emergency Room with a severe headache (felt like a migrane).  I do not suffer from back problems or severe headaches so this was very unusual.  

I stopped completely and its been almost 3-weeks now, just starting to feel normal.   Has anyone had any of these side effects?  Not taking anymore until I hear from any of you guys.  THANKS

I'm 5'6 and weigh 168 my doctor just gave me phentermine i want to lose 25-30 lbs. I dunno if i have much faith in this lil'pill anyone have some advice for me???
