Went for my 1st shot on 3/31 and then went again on 4/6 (just one day short of a full week).
I really didn't think I had lost, and was prepared for whatever the scale displayed, so I was very surprised when the nurse said "You lost 5 pounds". I asked her if she was sure, and she smiled and said "Look at the scale and look at your chart from last week".
I was very, very pleased. 5 pounds is 5 pounds LOL
I know this initial loss could just be water weight, but still I am pleased.
I should also mention that I drink a ton of water, hit the gym 2-3 times a week, and I do NOT eat after 7pm (which is very hard).
I know your happy with losing 5 pounds in 6 days but that can be critical to your health. Please ask your doctor if you keep losing that much weight every 6 to 7 days. I heard by my doctor 2 pounds a week are the most you should lose. He told me more than 2 pounds a week can hurt you. Good Luck!! I hope you keep a good process going!!
my dr also advised me that 2pounds a week was average but I lost 9. He told me that your weight loss will vary week to week. and so you may go a week where you don't lose anything. so keep that in mind as well. GOOD LUCK
