Starting Phase 2

by exmahn, Jun 08, 2007 12:00AM
Am I understanding this correctly....we eat absolutely nothing for breakfast....just liquid drinks, like tea, coffee and water?  Did anyone feel empty or extremely hungry in the morning from this?  Hunger pains???  Can I use the apple cider vinegar as a dressing for my handful of lettuce or spinach?

Me too!  I'm starting today but I'm using the original Dr Simeon Protocol, which is supposed to be the same as KT's Phase 2.  The first 2 days on the diet are 'eat anything', or as some people refer to them 'Loading days'. The HCG shots ability to prevent you from being hungry doesn't kick in until the 3rd thru 5th injection day. I took my first injection today.

I have not felt hungry at all. This is my 4th day.  Of course the first 2 days were 'loading days', so you wouldn't feel hungry.  Those first 2 days I had a problem eating very much.  I normally don't eat a lot (Just the wrong things) and my stomach wouldn't let me eat much on the 'loading days'.

The only problem I had was on the 3rd day - the shot was painful. Since I had already taken 2 shots and neither of them caused pain, I pulled the needle out and finished injecting somewhere else. The second location did not hurt.  Must have hit a nerve or something the first try.

where did you inject yourself?  The pharmacy I am dealing with told me to inject in the love handles or tummy.  I will stick with the love handles.

I'm in the Los Angeles CA, area, and I understand that you can purchase the hCG on your own and give yourself the injections, but does any know or is currently going to a liscensed clinic where THEY give them??

please email me if you know of any.. thank you so much

Good luck with that quest.  That was my first thought - I want to go somewhere and check in and have them give me shots and fix my meals.  What I found out is you are lucky to find a Clinic to prescribe the HCG. Unless you are lucky enough to live in one of the few cities who have a Clinic, then you will probably have to 'travel' for the first visit to one of the Clinics who run tests on you, then show you how to inject yourself and provide the HCG. After the initial visit, they mail supplies to you.

I took home 25 premixed HCG injections with me.  They will send more after I mail in blood pressure, weight & Inches lost info.

If I can give myself shots, anyone can.  It wasn't near as bad as I thought - painless and my fear of needles is almost completely overcome. I'm just on my 5th shot - still a tiny bit uneasy injecting  myself. Nothing like the first day though!

The Clinic I went to gave me instructions for 3 places to inject: Tummy/love handle area, upper buttock, or thigh.  They suggested I rotate where I inject. On this rotation I did the thigh for the first time, but couldn't remember if it was supposed to be inner thigh or outer. I tried outer first. When the pain hit, I switched to inner and had no problem.

what size needles do you use. The ones i got are 1in. but i was wondering if this is long enough because i understand that they are suppose to be intramuscular injections. I will be starting the injection part in a few weeks and i want to be prepared.
