I have personally seen huge success in weight loss for these individuals which also impacts the other said side-effects. I have battled my weight as well as bulimiaBulimia Eating disorders - resources for years. I leadLead poisoning a healthy, very active lifestyle and am quite distraught over the amount of weight I have gained in the past year. I am 5 feet tall and weigh 148 lbs. Yikes!
I have studied the side-effects of Topamax and admit I am a little Leary. I start my first dose tomorrow evening. I am starting at 50 mg at bedtime for 1 week, then titrate up. I am also quite excited about the possibility of my weight coming off. I know there are others out there like me.....a little over 40, very active and weight climbing. I had a hysterectomy years ago along with both ovaries taken out..I believe this also added to the weight problem. If anyone is out there who can relate, let me know! I plan to track my progress.
