Topamax

Hi,
I was on Topamax actually for depression for a while and I lost a TON of weight. I was also on amphetamines at the same time for the depression since nothing else was working although I didn't take them every day. Because I was losing sooo much weight my doctor took me off the Topamax. I stayed at a steady weight for a while and then after screwing with my depression meds I blew up again. I once again tried Topamax to get the weight off (per my doc). It didn't work. I read from other's postings that the second time around on Topamax you don't get that nice side effect.
Now years later my neurologist has me on Topamax for my headaches (which it is great for). He has me on 300 mg so that it can help me lose some of the weight that the anti-depressants have put back on. Has anybody had any luck with the second or third time around on Topamax and the weight loss issue?
