WEIGHT LOSS CURE AND HCG

by mrs.mom, Mar 13, 2007 12:00AM
i just got the book the weight loss cure and i am ready to get started but, i am concerned about getting too involved in the protocol because i am afraid i will not be able to get the HCG injections that i need for phase 2.... in the book HCG is not for the help of loosing the weight but, for helping with the stored fat that you see on people who have lost a lot of weight and their skin is just hanging there..i need to lose a large amount of weight, i dont want to lose the weight and still look like i'm overweight due to this sagging skin........... is there anywhere you can get this HCG?????

I don't know much about HCG, but SUPPOSEDLY this is what the HCG package insert says:

"HCG has no known effect of fat mobilization, appetite or sense of hunger, or body fat distribution...HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity, it does not increase fat losses beyond that resulting from caloric restriction."

I've never heard of it preventing loose skin. The only thing I thought could get rid of loose skin was surgery. I've read that a good way to help prevent loose skin was drinking plenty of water while you're dieting. But obviously, if one has a LOT of weight to lose, you're most likely going to have some loose skin no matter what. Think of it this way: All that skin had to stretch and grow to cover the fat. Once the fat is gone, the skin doesn't usually shrink that much. Good luck!

To: Try this to find HCG
Google "HCG weight loss Houston"  (or whatever your city is).  Also try the phone book and call some local clinics to see if they use HCG.  I found one in my city that has a protocol "based on" Dr Simeon's (as the the "Cure" book).  I'm trying to do more of the protocol as in the book. Good luck!

I live in the San Fernando / Los Angeles Area. I am trying to find out where I can get the hcG.  Can anyone help me?

There's a clinic in Newport Beach!  You can find the information at releana.com

You only need to go there once for a one hour appointment, from what I was told through another forum where someone had gone there and was pleased with it.  She lives somewhere else; she purchased some of it at the time and I THINK they were willing to mail the rest, but not sure.

It's too far for me to travel, since I live in the opposite end of CA--N. CA

I hope this is helpful.

Does anyone know of a Dr. in the Albuquerque, NM area that administers the hCG injections?  I just found a website that has an oral product of hCG and it is at http://www.naturalcuresstore.com/

Hi,  I used oral product from naturalcuresstore.com and it's a total rip-off.  First, I actually gained weight while only eating 500 cal a day.  Second, they don't tell you that for $150 you only get 20 days supply and you'll actually have to spend $450 to get 6 weeks supply.  Third, says guaranteed to work better than shots, but that's only after you use it for 6 weeks, then get a doctor to give you prescription for shots then use them for 6 weeks then, maybe, you'll get a refund.  Try www.ghimedical.com.  Just did the bloodwork, doctor consultation and shots are arriving Friday.

Thank you for your responses.  I had my reservations.  Do you have primary doctors that you work with that agree to this theory and will administer the shots?  I don't think my will.  I seldom see him and do most of my preventative medicine through alternative medicines.  I have looked at the website of GHI and have sent an inquiry.  Does anyone else have any input to their results?
Thanks again!

I like the hcgdiet site, it has an address.  I get a little concerned doing business by telephone only.  I believe in alternative medicines, but I also like to know who I am dealing with and how they do business.  Most of what I think I found is all eastern states, does anyone have a good one in the western states?

by Jemezhoney, Aug 02, 2007 11:10AM

I have been reading the back dated comments from everyone and I did not realize that we have so many folks that are proned to deciding the rights of others and wanting to report every medical and alternative method that might really be helpful to another individual.  I agree that it is everyone's own decision to make about their health and I do encourage doing the research before making that decision, but I also know that the factor of making money does not stop on the street, but also in our drug makers who then try to force their influence on medical staff and doctors as well as alternative health practicioners.  Saying all that, if you know of someone in the west that does this protocal and do not want to expose them to the nayers, please email your response to ***@****.

Hey Smarti...I'm on the same program you are. I've been doing it for just under 2 months and have lost 26 lbs.  I would have done better but I went on a few vacations in which I went off the diet and hcg.  After eating all kinds of junk and drinking beer for a week I gained almost 9 lbs on my second vacation.  But I lost it all and then some in 5 days.  When I look at the progress I've made when I follow the protocol I'm thrilled!    I've been hit and miss on the exercise....do it about 3 days a week.

Another thing that should help you hang in there is this:  I have to go shopping for new clothes!!  I"ve lost so much that my clothes are just hanging on me.  My coworkers now evaluate my clothes every day to determine if I can keep wearing them or have to put them in the "too big" box.  What a change!
Hope this helps.  Hang in there!

I am on the Liquid for of HCG and my feet began to swell I stopped taking it and the swelling went down. But I also had surgery a few times since December also. And thought it may have been from this. I recently had laser an vein surgery also. I just got back on the HCG Liquid under the tongue form and The Swelling is starting back

go to Native Healing Ways website, they sell it, I got it in a day, have lost 11.6 lbs in 9 days, feel great, and am even losing inches. Its a little more pricey but after all the logs I 've read from people saying they've waited MONTHS for it to come in the mail, I didn't trust it. I got mine from NHW in 1 day and its an actual clinic, not a steroid/hormone reseller. Good luck to you!!

by mno, Oct 17, 2007 07:37PM
There is only one legit form of oral hcg, go to Releana.com and they have a locator to find a doctor near you.  I just got mine today and am so excited.  It was expensive but if it works it will be well worth it consdering I have not been able to lose more than 5 pounds in over 3 years.  On that website they have double blind studies that seem to be pretty impresive.  The bloodwork was 350, the releana was 250 and the doctor visit was 90.  If you want appetite suppresants than it is about 20 more. Some clinics are a little cheaper but I could not find one in the Seattle area other than this one.  The doctor was great and I would recommend him to my friends and family.  I just started today and am doing the loading today and tommorow.  Then I will follow the Simeons protocol exactly with treadmill 30-60 min. a day.  I will post again in a week or two to let you guys know the results.
Good Luck to all that are trying as well.

WOW! At Releana.com  under "prices" it says that the blood work is $75. Why was your's $350?
How long of a program did they put you on? And if you don't mind me asking, how much weight do you want to lose? It's been a few days since you started, any results yet? I too have a very difficult time loosing ANY weight. Hope this works for you!!! :o)

Hey Girlee!!  Can you tell us if you are still making progress? Or you reached your goal already?

by Didit, Feb 16, 2008 12:40PM
My husband and I both started the oral releana diet in August 2007.  He lost 20 pounds and I lost 33. We are now in the maintaining stage. Mine is a big deal since I could never lose weight and no diets worked.  I'm 55 (he's 69) and weight just didn't come off.  Even with traveling the month of November,Holidays and a cruise we only gained 4 pounds back.  You just go back on the diet and the weight comes right back off.

That said, we hadn't had a dessert from August until December. The diet is strict but very easy to cook.

It is costly.  We got our supply from the Newport beach clinic. The initial consult with vitamin B shot I think was $90.  Then for me I also got some hunger suppressant pills initally because I could'nt believe the calorie count and thought I'd starve.  I needed the hunger pills so my total was about $350.00. After the first bottle of Releana I didn't need the supressants any more.
The Releana is $250 and the bottle is about a 25-28 days supply. You also get some potassium pills to take with the program.

The oral Releana has to be refrigerated.  Even when I traveled, I had a note for the Airport screeners so it could stay on ice through security.

It's the only diet that has worked for me. Good luck to everyone on it!!!!

I live in the Tampa, Clearwater, FL area and see Dr. Saylor in Tarpon Springs.  I did great on the HCG and lost 32 pounds.  From what I was told the HCG doen't make you lose weight but makes the stored fat available when calories are reducded just like it does in a pregnant woman.  The oral HCG and online orders I would be scared to death of because there is no oral HCG and the online injectables that are not from a doctor come from non human sources.  The only real HCG has to be by perscription from a physician.  Common sense tells me that all the sources for human HCG is tied up by the drug makers and they are the only ones you can get real human HCG from.

Aorry so long winded but I tried them all including the rip offs and this is the only plan that has worked for me.

Good luck all,
