What have been your experiences with Phentermine? How rapid was the weight loss?

I am about to start taking Phentermine and was wondering if any of you have taken it and if you have had any weight loss (and how soon did it start) and any side effects.

I started taking phentermine (30mg) a week ago yesterday.  I have lost about 8 lbs. this first week.  During this week, I made it to the gym 5 days, working out for an hour to an hour and a half (cardio & weight training).  

As for side effects, the phentermine makes me more hyper than I am; dry mouth (which helps me drink lots of water); a definite decrease in appetite; a little spacy (but not to the point of stupid); lots more energy!!  I haven't had any problems sleeping.

It is the first time in my entire life that I have felt in control over food!!  I am planning & hoping that the eating habits that I establish while on phentermine will incorporate themselves into my life and become 'natural' once I am off the drug.

It's been a God-send for me.

Do they offer the HCG shots to be mailed out?  I live in TX and can not find nayone areound here that does these shots.
