What is the real reason for the blood test needed for oral hcg?

I have been going to Millinium Medispa in Newport Beach. Owner Deitra Tutland PA cridencials.  I took hcg oral form a few times there and have gone there for years. Recently I had an expereince that really made me question the safetly of the oral hcg.

I went back to refill my hcg and they would not do this for me without a blood test. (they never had requested one before in all the years I had gone there) The girl there that answered the phone said because it is a prescription drug, they had to have it. Well, there are plenty of prescription drugs out there that do not need blood tests.I asked if Dedra could call me back. Let me also say that I have always enjoyed my visits there and have done all my resyline there and really trusted her...she is quite a lovely person. What concerned me was even though I had put in several calls to speak with her about this and even came by, I had no response. Even my busy orthopedic surgeon calls me back. This made me think that the oral form is not safe. There are many websites about injections etc and I also heard from an anesthesiologist hcg can cause tumors. I have since ceased to be a client for everything due to being unsure about the safety of oral hcg and I have to admit, I no longer felt she cared...after all, she is now booming with business and losing me is nothing. Can someone please tell me why the blood test really? Is the oral form safe or not and is it as good as the injectable?
