Worried about Aids from HCG, HELP...

Hello all,
Since the process of obtaining HCG begins with an element taken from urine,(a bodily fluid) of a pregnant women, is there even the remotest possiblility that it could transfer the Aids virus!?

hCG or Human chorionic gonadotropin, which is derived (definition from Webster's dictionary, derived means to get or receive something from a source), from the urine of pregnant women, is an injectable drug available commercially in the United States as well as many other countries. Pregnyl , made by Organon, and Profasi, made by Serono, are FDA approved for the treatment of undescended testicles in very young boys, hypogonadism (underproduction of testosterone) and as a fertility drug used to aid in inducing ovulation in women...~ This supposed to be a help forum. I had a perfectly legitimate question, and was not trying annoy or irratate you, so I do not understand what the sarcastic belittling comments were all about, but if this is your general attitude when you come on here I don't really see how your helping anyone... But a special THANK YOU to those of you out there who are actually concerned about helping others, even IF there questions might seem petty or dumb :-)

What you may see as sarcasm other see as a very resonable answer.  I  want to help people.  Im sorry, it WAS a weird question. Again if you do the PROPER research then you will know that reputable drs use synthetic hcg.  They dont go around collecting preg women urine.  Dr C told us everthing we needed to know before we started.  This is why you need to go to a doctor for this.

Your answer to the two negative comments IS absolutely correct.  It is derived from urine.  They say they are trying to help, but sarcasm is sarcasm, it is simply a ‘holier than thou’ statement.  Just ignore them.  

Regarding your question about aids:

Here is a quote from www.AIDSHotline.org.

The following "bodily fluids" are NOT infectious:

* Saliva
* Tears
* Sweat
* Feces
* Urine

Plus the HCG has been process and freeze dried making it impossible for the virus to survive if it was in the urine (and it’s not).

OK. to both of you who are claiming I am sarcastic. 1st of all Its not sarcastic to try to let people know the truth and not scare them to death with your AIDS question. And 2nd of all I dont know who either one of you are but  if you dont like my comments which are FACT, DONT READ THEM... and  no that wasnt sarcasim it is fact! And Edwards, Check out the meaning of the word Derived
The adjective derived has 2 meanings:

  Synonym: calculated


Meaning #2: formed or developed from something else; not original

THANK YOU very much for your intelligent, informative answer. It is SO nice to know that for those of us who do not 'KNOW IT ALL' a "normal person," can still ask a question without feeling stupid... :-)

Yes I agree. When the know it alls  get involved it just confuses things. Thats why Im glad we only have tried and true informed people on here to help the new people. I think I can speak with some knowledge since I have been on this HCG diet since Novemeber 2006 with excellent results. So again I agree! Let the know it alls, who really know nothing, go about their merry business or hang around and truly learn from the "oldies"...lol.
