Zoloft and Weight Gain

HiI was just reading about the person taking the zoloft and the topomax (topamax).  Generally any antidepressant can causeyou to gain weight.  Zoloft is one of the ones that generally does.  It is the rare person who doesn't gain weightwhile on them.  Wellbutrin is one of the only ones that doesn't cause a lot of weight gain or sexual dysfunction.  Anyperson that has a tendency toward manic behavior should be careful with the Wellbutrin.  I have been taking an antidepressant for about 18 years now and I have gained weight ever since.  Prior to beginning the medication,I weighed about 105-115 lbs. and now weigh about 155.  I want to lose weight really badly.  I have a bottle of topomaxand had taken them in the past and am starting them again.   It is really important to drink plenty of fluids while ontopomax  or you can have a form of acidosis.  It is recommended to monitor serum bicarbonate levels while taking this
