i suffer from depression. i started taking Zoloft about a month and a half ago. the adjustmentAdjustment disorder period was very hard but things did eventually start getting better. now i'm feeling some of the same side effects as before. i just feel...bad. very weak, dizziness, nausea, shivering/trembling, sweatingSweating Sweating - absent, dry mouth, nervousness, headaches and minor aches over entire body(especially lower back) etc. should i still be feeling side effects this late into the treatment?
i have suffered from anorexiaAnorexia nervosa Eating disorders - resources in the past. as the depression worsens i find myself skipping more and more meals. could being malnourished be causing me to feel bad?
another worry is the possibility of being pregnant. we used a condomCondoms Female condoms but the symptoms are worrying me into thinking it's just early signs of pregnancy and completely unrelated to the zoloft.
help.
i'm so confused.
Yes, skipping meals can make you feel bad. You need to speak to your therapist about your depression, your symptoms, and your medication.
If you are late for your period, take a hpt to settle that issue. If you are not yet due for your period, wait and take a hpt if you miss it.
I hope you get some help.
the symptoms sound like a lot more than those of pregnancy to me and I would think the zoloft should be helping more by now. You probably need to change your dosage or try a different medication, it can take a while to find exactly what works best for you. I hope you can motivate yourself to eat regular meals, even if theay're small, and if you need to talk, I'm always around! Good luck!
