I would try You on A Diet by Drs. Roizen and Oz instead. I have done Atkins twiceTwice-a-day and it hard to maintain after the weight loss. You on a Diet is more reasonable for the long haul. Just my 2 cents.
I forgot to tell you don't forget the PROTEIN also. The most important. Skip the salad, no protein, get out the chicken or Protein powder(my best friend)
I guess the reason I think this way is,of course a bodybuilder doesn't do Atkins because that too much fat, and they have enough muscle to burn fat. But a heavy person needs to jump start the fat burning and usually when people are heavy its hard to want to do cardio or feel like doing it long enough to make a difference. I like to read your stuff because you sound alot like me when it comes to working out. You seem to like carbs and I don't have a good relationship with them. I don't like looking full, I like indentions to show on my body. Maybe the low carb thing has affected my brain?
